Pyzano's Pizzeria
Though there are young workers that are here they know how to please. I didn't know what to order but I seen on TV about this place. I was on my way home from the Oakland Airport and decided to stop by. Since I was already on the 580 I navigated my way here, and I am truly glad I came. I got a slice of pizza and a salad for $10!
Mallers Deli & Restaurant
I've been to deli's all around the United States, and this one is possibly the best i've been to.
I ordered a sourdough toasted with ham and swiss, nothing special, but they used this butter that tasted oh so sweet and good.
Their service is excellent as well as their prices.
La Patisserie P
I think I probably came here every other day at my stay in Chicago, and also took some tarts home for my mother. This place had a tremendous variety of their pastries.
The prices were right, which kept me coming frequently, and the manager remembered my name the second time I came in.
They are really nice people and I wish we had a type of pastry place like this back at home.
I would recommend this place to visitors/ travelers. A MUST HAVE.
Crowne Plaza Hotel - Chicago-Metro
My boss sent 8 of his top workers to Chicago to head a large important meeting for him. We stayed here, at first I thought it was going to be some cheap stay just because in California the Crowne Plaza's aren't so fancy.
This one was fancy and nice.
They took great care of us at our stay. Answered various questions that we had and never gave us attitude for asking them for different wake up call times.
Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago
Due to the poor weather at the time we went, our trip to Chicago was an extended day for free. The owner was very nice and knew that we were stuck due to the poor weather winds. He showed us to our complimentary rooms and we were able to warm up and have room service.
I myself was surprised that we didn't have to pay a thing, maybe it was some type of deal with our business company that I didn't know about, but I didn't have to suffer for it.
I was able to take a nice swim in the pool, heated may I ad. And also, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. You must come and see!
Cafe Matou
Oh thank the heaven for Cafe Matou! It is hidden and I wouldn't have found if I didn't go jogging that morning. There were a group of elderly ladies heading a direction I thought was strange and unsafe.
Let to know it lead me to a location I was able to sit down and relax and appreciate the finer things in life.
Yu Choy Chinese Restaurant
After experiencing no so tasty food at a local chinese place, I encouraged my co-workers to come to Yu Choy. The fellow at our hotel was talking about a dinner him and his wife enjoyed, and I over heard them speak of Yu Choy. They were open later than most restaurants and have great tasting food!
Papa Jin Chinese Restaurant
I gave them a satisfactory for their customer service. The setting is nice and the waiter was friendly. I wanted to do some sake bombs with a few co-workers which we started out our night with.
The waiter kept coming to our table and I told him I would flag him down when we were ready to eat and order just because we wanted to relax and enjoy our stay in another state complimentaries of our job place.
Finally we were ready to order, and the sushi, just tasted bad. All 5 of our orders. We respectfully left right after we got the food, no one ate, we just drank.
Chens Chinese & Sushi
Went here on a business trip for my work and decided to look around the hot spots in Chicago. Let to know that I didn't end up in such a hot place.
Not only was my food uncooked, it seemed like it was sitting there for a little bit.
How would I know?
I sat there staring at the diner place where they put the food on top so the waiter can get it. If I knew it was mine forsure, I would've walked and picked it up myself.
I polietly asked them to reheat it, and the lady gave me an attitude so I just left.
Holiday Inn - Stockton-March Lane
This Holiday Inn was not too far off the freeway. My date and I in high school went to this inn after prom. The room was decent for the price and they even let us check in past 12 and let us stay an extra few hours the next day.
We had to walk pretty far to our room, it's not a whole building, it's seperated and there's no elevators so if you're at the top and cannot walk, ask for a room on the first floor.
