Tex Barry's Coney Island
Our 3 kids practically grew up on Tex Barry's Hot Dogs. They have the best Chili Dogs. Some of the best memories our kids have are walking down to Tex Barrys with their uncles to get hot dogs. Get your hot dogs to go and have a picnic in nearby Balfour Riverwalk Park!

D & M Pizza & Subs
Our family has ordered from D&M a few times and have always been happy with the service and quality of the food. The parking is a little limited but it's worth the trip. The prices are good, also.

Rico's Subs & Pizza
Our family loves Rico's subs. The pasta dishes are also good. If you order the pasta dishes, plan on sharing your meal or having enough to take home for leftovers! The prices are good and affordable. Our family usually eats right there in the dining room. Their pizza is also very good

Pizzeria De Marco
Pizzeria Demarco is our family's first choice when it comes to pizza and subs. This is a family run business. It's refreshing to see a family working together: young daughter helps at the counter with her dad! Their prices are great and we like the fact that they are closed on Sundays to spend time with family. We love their pizzas and subs!

Bill's Pizza
Our family really enjoys the pizza at Bill's. They have an awesome Buffalo Chicken Pizza! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are great. I would highly recommend this pizza establishment!

Bear-ly Inn
I recently stayed at the Bear-ly Inn with my mom while visiting Dixfield. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the house. The breakfast was excellant and filling. We were the only guests that night (off season) and the host and hostess let us wander around the other rooms to explore! Lovely Inn!

Sherwood Forest Campground
Our family has been to this campground twice, once in a camper and once we rented a cabin. The campsites are roomy. The cabin was a lot of fun and roomy enough for 6 people. The campground hosts are very helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the Saturday night Christian concerts. It's refreshing to fellowship with other Christians while on vacation. We would highly recommend this campground.

A trip to New Harbor would not be complete for our family without stopping at Reilly's for their fresh, warm cheesebread! Walking into Reilly's is like stepping back in time, old time country store with fresh produce, well stocked deli and a great bakery! Don't leave without picking up a loaf of their special Cheesebread!

Hardy Boat Cruises
Our family used Hardy Boat Cruises to go out to Monhegan Island. The captain was very informative and engaging. Our kids enjoyed the ride around the island where the seals are in abundance. We would recommend this Cruise to everyone, families with small children to adults.

Peluso Joseph R Dds
Dr. Peluso was our first choice when our oldest daughter was in need of orthodontic work. He did a wonderful job. When it came time for our second daughter to start her braces, the decision was easy! Dr. Peluso and his staff is friendly and very compassionate with their patients.
