Washington Mutual

Everytime I go to this branch the employees are rude.
Wamu's service is excellent, but this branch needs some employee training.
Last time the employee messed up my deposit and then in order to fix it I had to wait a good 30 minutes.
Also, they keep on changing people all the time.
How are you supposed to have a relationship with the bank?

Anways, Washington Mutual is a good bank overall and I will drive a little longer and go to another branch.

Singing Tomatoes

It is a great place to find nice organic, ethinic and mediterranean food.
I love the family market feel.
I've been buying there now for the past 4 months.
My only critique is that unfortunately a lot of the products are not labeled in english.
I wish they did that. They would have more of an american clientele.
They rely on their turkish clients too much, and there is good business on the american and latin markets.
But overall, nice place to find fresh food and good deals.

Hot & Tasty Cakes

I have had a zuppa inglese with you guys before. But insider pages does not let me review for each occasion I go there.
So I erased my other review and I am posting my newest one.

Thank you for the graduation hat cake I had on May 25th.
I loved all the little details on it. You guys took it to the heart.

The toasted coconut filling was very good and the cake was moist and light like I expected. We are not fond of the buttercream, and with the fondant, it tasted just right.
The top tier in bavarian cream and strawberries was just delicious. I liked that cake better than the other one. I just wished I had done a third tier because the cake ran out really fast. I guess I miscalculated how many guests would attend the graduation party.

Price was reasonable - it came out to about $6/person with tax and delivery. Most other places charge at least $8 a piece. We went to We Take the Cake for a consultation and thought the $12 dollars were a bit too much.

CONS: I just wished we had moist the cake with champagne as the Chef suggested it. It would've made a huge difference, we believe.

Overal it was a great experience. And, I will be back again for my son's birthday party in august.

Their new website is great and it saves me a lot of time.

I am ordering from there from now on.
