Gaucho's Village Brazilian Churrascaria "Steak House"
This place is incredibly festive! The walls, the staff, the tables; eveything plays to the fun upbeat mood. The meat is very tasty and there is a great selection. Perfect for a group of friend or mini-party.
Malibu Inn Restaurant
I love the smoked chicken quesadilla from the Inn! I've never seen a show here, but I would like too as it seems like it'd be an intimate place to relax and listen to good music. ...while eating good food! The food here is pretty standard (minus the quesadilla, which is awesome)- it has all the standard fried munchies.
Yucatan Cantina
This is a pretty fun place to come watch sports and have a few drinks. It doesn't get too packed in my expereince, which makes it a little more low key. Good bar food too- I love the fries here!
Spruzzos
I love to start out with the crab cakes, then share a pizza. Get here early to watch the sunset while enjoying a slice of fresh tomato, basil, mozzerella pizza! Parking is an issue, but prices are decent- under $20 for dinner I'd say.
Malibu Chicken
This is a perfect "pit-stop" when crusing down PCH on a summer day! I love the chicken sandwich here, and it's way more than enough to fill you up! Parking can be tough, but fight it, cause it's worth it! Prices are decent.
Solex
I had the most amazing beef wellington here! it was juicy and packed a little crunch in the crust that was out of this world! I came here with a client, so price wasn't an option- I don't even think I took note of how much it was. Excellent other Euro options that I would have loved to sample!
Pizza Port Solana Beach Brewery
This is a great place to come if you want pizza and beer. at the same time. The pizza is full of topings and there is a large selection of beers. If the place were a bit bigger it would be better for groups. Good to come watch sports too!
Old California Restaurant Row & Market Place
Restaurant Row in San Marcos is a great place to come if you can't decied where to go- there's a great sushi place (Katsu), a bbq place, among others. I personally love Brunos and their yummy garlic bread and triamisu for dessert!
Flower Hill Mall
This is a great place to come to get a lot of things done. You can get amazing baked good, tarts, chocolate covered strawberries, etc at the bakery. There's a place to hand paint pottery. Come see a movie and sneak in food from Rubios or Panda. Then go grocery shopping on your way home. Also, a very cool fountain to relax by!
The Grateful Bread Bakery
I came here to get a selection of breads for a french themed party that I was throwing in San Marcos. It was great! There was such a wide selection, and everyone at the party commented about how tasty it all was. Best part- making brioche french toast the next day!
