Play 'n' Learn has provided my children with outstanding childcare from six months of age until kindergarten. The teachers have been consistently outstanding, and obviously love caring for the children. The center uses the 'high reach' curriculum, supplemented by other projects, and it has helped my children develop academically without it being overwhelming. The center offers extra fun activities like sports and computers.
William Penn Inn
The William Penn Inn is one of the most outstanding places to visit in the Philadelphia region for an elegant, delicious Sunday brunch. Service is impeccable, and everything one could desire is found at the table, from peel and eat shrimp to eggs benedict. The Inn is also a gorgeous locale for any formal wedding.
Fat Jack's BBQ
The seating area at Abner's authentic barbecue could be found in any small cafe in Pennsylvania. But take one bite of the food, and you'll think you've been transported to North Carolina! The restaurant specializes in fall-off-the-bone ribs, perfectly seasoned pulled chicken, and wonderful mashed sweet potatoes. The sweet tea is enough to keep me coming back. One container can serve several, so it's a great way to try a variety of dishes while staying a good deal. My only complaint is that all food is served in styrofoam containers, which feels very wasteful especially for customers eating in.

Dr. Russ, with Montgomery Chiropractic, is an outstanding chiropractor and medical practitioner. He is able to address any complaint, from well care to serious injury. Dr. Russ is also skilled at addressing problems during pregnancy and with young children. Overall, highly recommended!
Bettes Bounces & Carnival Attractions
Bette's is one of a recent proliferation of indoor facilities where preschoolers can have a blast running off steam, bouncing in a variety of inflatable bouncing devices. Bette's is great fun, and a reasonable cost. My 4-year-old especially enjoyed playing on the free WII, which is a nice change from the expensive arcades that are typical at such establishments.

Hungry for a delicious donut? How about fresh cookies, excellent cakes, or specialty breads? Look no further than Daryl's pastries on Keswick Avenue in Glenside. Everything is delicious, and the service is always done with a smile.
Thunderbird Lanes
Thunderbird Lanes is a wonderful place for bowling! Sunday mornings are a superb time, as there is no smoking at the alley, and games are discounted. The scorekeeping is excellent, and it is easy to request bumpers for the lanes.
