These guys are great! Our family has bought several bikes from this shop and we have had a fantastic experience every time. They are knowledgeable, helpful and you can tell they just really like what they do.
My husband *almost* bought a VERY expensive mountain bike from them but at the last minute and after much consultation with the guys at the shop, decided to buy the same bike used from ebay. They were fantastic about it and did a complete tune-up when my husband brought in his new bike.
I never feel like they are trying to sell us more than we need or talk down to those of us who don't know a lot about bikes. They are full of helpful suggestions as to which model, style and type of bike would be best for each member of our family.
This is the real deal as far as bike shops go.
Just as good as the first Pudge's over in Blue Bell, but with more seating!
I won't weigh in on who has the best cheese steak in Philly because I know I'm not qualified as a native Floridian. However, I will say that Pudge's is my personal favorite.
And talk about big! Bring your appetite. But don't come on Monday, they are closed on Monday.
I know there is a long standing debate about the *best* cheese steak in Philly. I'm not going to get into that...as a native Floridian, I don't really have the credentials. All I'm going to say is the gigantic and delicious cheese steaks at Pudge's are MY personal favorite.
Pudge's is a little hole in the wall dive on the side of strip mall on Dekalb Pike. It's old and kind of dingy but the staff is always smiling. But you better get there early if you coming in at lunch time because they fill up quick.
Oh, and don't order the full sized cheese steak or you'll need a table all to yourself just to hold your sandwich.
As a native of Florida, someone who had never heard the term hoagie until she was 25 years old....I can now say that Lee's hoagies are my all time favorite. YUUUM. Nothing more to say really except you can get any kind of hoagie any way you like it at Lee's and they NEVER let you down.
Sometimes in fancy salons I tend to feel overwhelmed and like a country mouse. However, Citrus has just the right feel, higher end without making me feel self-conscious and under-dressed to just to get my haircut.I had my hair cut twice and liked both cuts. I liked the Bumble and Bumble products that were recommended (but not forced on me).You pay for the service you receive for sure, but I think they are reasonably priced for this type of salon. Plus don't forget you get a glass of water with a lemon slice in too, that has to be worth something!
I was so excited when Bonjung opened...it is only 5 minutes from my house. We ate there three times total. And while all of the side items were very good, I feel like they over do it with their sushi rolls...too many ingredients, too many rolls with spicy sauce. I like rolls to be interesting but I would like to still be able to taste the fish, when the ingredients over power the fish then I think you've taken a good thing too far.I have to say their kids menu is fantastic though! It comes in an adorable little bento box and I kind of wished I could order one for me!Another positive was the staff was very attentive and friendly...even with kids at the table.
This is our second choice sushi restaurant in the area. Their sushi is good in my opinion but their tempura is really something special. They get it just right so it is crispy and light and not greasy at all.We did have a bad experience with one server yelling at my son (then about 3) playing with the card on the table (courtesy of Kirin beer probably). The waitress yelled at him and said he might break it. She was quite unpleasant about the whole thing.
Everything I've had to eat at Taste of India has been very good. I can't say it is the best Indian food I've ever had but it is consistently a good and affordable place to eat dinner. The ambiance leaves a little something to be desired, but what can you do when you are located in a strip mall??
They are helpful suggesting meals that would be appropriate for kids (not too spicy) and will adjust the heat of any dish that you order.
That's what I think every time I go into Gary's. It is a good option in a pinch and since it is the closest option for those living in Collegeville I found myself stopping in on occasion for things I'd forgotten or run out of unexpectedly. I agree that it is prudent to check expiration dates...sometimes you don't even need to, the layer of dust on the item lets you know it's been on the shelf a little bit too long. There are definitely better health food stores in the area but in a pinch, Gary's can often come through.
Really cool unique gifts. Really annoying yappy dog. It's a toss up. But when you need a gift at the last minute there is something for almost everyone in this store. It would be 4 stars if it weren't for the yappy dog and the less than friendly staff.
