Not sure if these guys are off duty firefighters or not but I wouldnt be surprised if they were. Pleasant to deal with and not a scratch on my stuff. They were courteous and even asked me when I wanted things instead of just finding a place. Will certainly call upon them again.
the menu was more than just the simple pho and vietnamese rice dishes. I was surprised to see many noodle dishes as well. The ice coffee wasnt too strong and just the right amount of milk.
Not as big as some of the other asian supermarkets but it still carried all the essentials.I liked to that the sheckout was computerized so I know I was getting the right price everytime instead of what the checker thought I should be paying. Could use a credit card without issue and the produce was fresh.
Grabbed a bite to eat her for lunch one day. Because of the location it wasnt too busy. The windows had a nice curtain selection that kept the sun out of your eyes and set a pleasant atmosphere to the dining hall. The staff was quick and the food plenty hot. Great and filling pho meal for lower than expected price. Sitdown meal in fast food time and pricing.
From cigs, pipes, and loose tobacco, Pipe dream had all I was looking for. Even saw loose paper for those that like to wrap their own. The staff was younger than what I normally see in cigar shops but still eager to help and direct my attention to the products I was looking for.
Yup, just like the name says, its cigs and other tobacco products for less. Your best savings comes if you buy in bulk. The selection is astounding with al the normal fair and some exotic stuff that I didnt know even existed. If you use tobaccy regulary you get your best deal here and avoid the gas station super high prices.
Mexican food with a freshness and simplicity that seems to be lost at all the high end restaurants. At Gueros, the price is fair and the servings large. Its great downhome mexican food without all the unnecessary pizaz that just covers up the good flavor. If you like simple and real for next to nothing. Gueros is the place.
Had drinks and a bite to eat here awhile back. Great finger food and the rice wasnt too wet like some places. The kimchee tasted fresh and house made as well. I thought the decor and music were not distracting from conversation. Definetly not as pretentious as the neighborhood gives off.
Ive tried many pho restuarants over the years and Pho Kim is one of the tops on my list. The receptionist greeted us quickly and with a smile. The water tasted bottled or filtered and not like tap water that you get at so many other places. The peanut sauce wasnt too thick to dip my spring roll into and the pho was a large serving for a very fair price.
Even though the neighborhood is a little scary, the restuarant is quite pleasant. Nice family owned eatery that served up autentic vietnamese pho. The soup wasnt too oily and the bean sprouts were fresh and very crisp. I also liked that the condiment bottles were clean and didnt have old sauce dried to them.
