This is a nice little boutique pet food store offering many holistique foods and supplements. The staff is very knowledgeable and they carry some brands that a competitor in town does not carry. They also have some off the wall toys you may not find elsewhere. They will also do special orders. If you care about your pet's health I would buy one of the quality dog foods they carry. Oh, they wouldn't donate to a fundraiser for a breed specific rescue raffle but their competitor did.
I live very close to this restaurant and never tried them. I go to the Scolari's Grocery store all the time in this shopping center. I finally asked friends to go out to dinner with me here...my treat. I was very disappointed. I was hoping this would be a great little Italian restaurant that I could frequent but it was not very good at all. The red sauce left a lot to be desired and the wine list wasn't very good.
There are better Italian places in Reno.
I had one of the best meals there ever. It is a higher priced restaurant but well worth it. Their calamari is to die for!!! Reservations are hard to come by so plan in advance. They are located on the fringe of downtown, probably not the best neighborhood. Atmosphere was very relaxed and wine list was great!!!
The food was very good Mexican food. Probably the best that I've had but their cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Atmosphere was very festive and they have great margarita's as well. Oh heck, if you have a few you'll never notice that they place needs a thorough cleaning. I would still recommend them for their authentic Mexican food.
If you're jonesen for Philly Cheesesteak this is your place. My husband thought his was pretty good and I got the chicken version which was good. Fries were also a big plus. This is a picnic table type place so if you're looking to be waited on it won't happen here. If you want a good sandwich and fries and you miss Philly I would recommend them.
I went with a friend for lunch and we were the only one's in there. Can't even remember what I had but I know it wasn't good. I guess it should have been a clue since we were the only one's there. Seating was also uncomfortable and the atmosphere was dinerish.
This is where you go for fish in Reno. They usually have a nice selection and are always busy. We went for brunch once but I wouldn't go back for brunch again as I felt they used fish scraps in some of their dishes. I hit a bone and I hate hitting bones. Pricing is moderate to high depending on what you get. Parking is sometimes a bit difficult.
This is supposed to be one of the better restaurants in Reno and I felt it was just okay. None of the dishes screamed special but the prices did. The wine list was also a little pricey. Atmosphere was very elegant. We went once but did not go back.
This is a board certified ophthalmologist offering CERF and help with other small animal eye problems. I usually had no problem getting an appointment. They were very good with my dogs and provided helpful advice when asked. I recently put a call into the vet and he had a tech call me back which I didn't like as I felt my question was not understood and I am now looking elsewhere for answers. I would still recommend them.
I had to take one of my dogs after my regular vet closed and had to leave her with them. They called throughout the night with updates and had no problem with me calling when I couldn't sleep because I was worried. They were very caring and my baby came through with flying colors. The staff was very sweet with her and treated her like she belonged to one of them. As usualy with all after hours vets it is pricey but who cares when it's one of you babies. I would recommend them highly.
