Sea Modern Thai Cusine
This place is amazing. You must try this restaraunt! The curry plates are absolutley the best Ive had. The coconut milk they use in the dishes is rich and tasty! They have a great menu and really good service. Having the kitchen in the dining area, is a great experience as well. Sometimes you can see the flames from the grill, where they cook, nice atmosphere. Kind of close seating relative to the other patrons which is the ONLY downfall, as others can literally listen to what you are saying, but we have met some people while dining, which is not a bad thing sometimes too. Exceeded expectations every time we go.
Kwei Bin Chinese Restaurant
We have eaten at this facility for the last 2 years and at some point, the food changed. It was always really good typical chinese food, then it seemed that the quality of food was different all of a sudden. I dont know if the cooks had changed, or management changed. But the packaging was different than what we were used to, and it just seemed that the quality of the meat took a turn for the worse. We still go there for the convenience but its just not the same. Still pretty good food though.
Aram's Cafe
What a great place to go for breakfast! They have one of the best breakfast plates that I love to get every time I go there. Its steamed eggs, with vegetables mixed in. The service is always excellent, and they make great coffees. I would highly recommend you try out this cafe, as they have many "heart healthy" items on the menu as well.
Petaluma Market
This market is one of Petalumas finest. It has many specialty items, including a full butcher section, a great deli, and many wines to choose from. My favorite section is the beer and soda section which has many that you cannot find anywhere else. They have a hot food section that they change from breakfast to lunch, to dinner. Excellent place to shop, although their prices are a bit more than chain stores.
Bricks Petaluma
Tasty appetizers and creative pizza menu. I beleive its only beer and wine, but the selections that they have are very unique. Great atmosphere with live music on certain nights. Can be a little loud at times, but what is a great bar/restaruant without it! Small inside, with small seating area, but worth it. Try the goat cheese appetizer, its wonderful.
Finbar Devine's Irish Pub
If you are looking for an authentic Irish pub, then look no further. The beer on tap is wonderful, Guiness, bass, and other fine ales can be found. The restaurant has great atmosphere as well. Two floors of seating in an arena style feel, so there is plenty of seats, and you really dont feel crowded. The food is great. The menu has one of my all time favorites: Shepards Pie! Ground beef with mashed potatoes baked on top, and this is one of the best ones that I have had.
Passanisi Nursery
I have been to this nursery a few times, and its been great every time. I have bought fertilizer, and some succulents from here and they have many to choose from. Nice pots to plant things in, and they have some nice tropical indoor syle plants as well. Knowledgable friendly staff await you here as well.
Petaluma Sport Shop & Dive
This place has everything. Its been a local favorite for sometime. If you are on your way to the ocean or just going to the Marina for some striped bass, these guys have your supplies. They have squid, mackerel, anchovies and lots of live minnows and live bait. The staff is usually very helpful and full of advice for wherever you are going fishing. Good place to go for all your fishing needs.
Mc Lea's Tire & Automotive Svc
My wife and I first went here to get both of our cars tires replaced. Everything was fine with the tires, and they are of good quality. However, every time we go back in now to get our oil changed, something goes wrong. The service is just not there, and they dont seem to pay much attention to you.
Petaluma Golf Ctr
This is an excellent facility to go and practice your golf skills. Putting green, chipping area, driving range with turf and "real grass" areas. Its only 10 dollars for a large bucket of balls, which is plenty to hone in your game. Its not too crowded so getting a spot all to yourself is nice. Friendly owner as well.
