La Perla Cafe
I came here for lunch with my mother and I ordered a burrito "al pastor" and she got a vegetarian burrito. My burrito was very good- perfectly spicy and the meat didn't have too much gristle. I had a bite of my mom's burrito and it was surprisingly good- I did not think that a burrito sans meat would be that tasty. The cheese melted with the beans and rice against the crunchy lettuce and tomatoes was great!
Harley's Italian Bistro
Likes: Picking up food from Harley's and bringing it home to eat in front of a good movie! I adore the marinara pasta with a side of garlic bread and a slice of chocolate cake for dessert. Also, it's very affordable.
Dislikes: I feel like every time I've come here, I am seated right next to a family with a loud, screaming baby!
Cafe Joul
Likes: The casual environment, and the well-prepared food. The menu is extensive and the seafood dishes are caught that day! This would be a great place to both take a date and take your mom.
Dislikes: Expensive.
Our Gang Pizza & Cafe
Likes: the romantic Italian atmosphere is the main reason to come here. It feels like you are in Italy!
Dislikes: Standard food doesn't match the great decor.
Lalibela Cafe Ethiopian
....then come here! The Ethiopian fare is very different and a great change of pace! I forget the name of it, but you can order something that is basically a sampling of everything. We devoured the moist bread with the flavorful array of meats. I was very full by the end and had a great exotic experience with my friends. Will come back!
Salty Senorita
I ordered enchiladas here and they came out looking like they had been siting out- the sauce had developed a film over the top and was not at all appetizing. They did taste pretty good, but nothing to come back for.
Sushi Q
Likes: The friendly staff is great! The sushi chefs are too focused on cooking to stop and chat with guests. It's great! We sat at the bar and the chef chatted with us and made recommendations based on the fact that I am "scared' of eating certain seafood.
Dislikes: Expensive- but that's the way sushi is.
Medizona
Likes: The adventurous menu that really is all over the place. It's great if you want something very very different. Also, there are vegetarian entrees- my vegetarian friend was the one who made me come here.
Dislikes: The staff acted snobby and ignored us most of the night. They were slow and so was the food. I think we waited about an hour after we ordered!
Rancho Pinot Grill
There is literally nothing on the menu that doesn't look incredibly delicious! I've only been here once, and I chose the roasted chicken. It was insanely juicy and the meat really did just fall off the bone! Looking around at other tables, I wanted to take a bite of everything! Would love to come back here again!!
Julieanna's Patio Cafe
I had a wonderful time with a special someone here- we were here for dinner and we split the coconut shrimp to start off with. It was amazing! I do wish the portion size on that was larger though. For the main course we split a Thai salad (was crispy and had a spicy and delicious sauce) and a curry dish that I remember being very spicy and very flavorful!
