Bradenton Small Animal Hospital Incorporated
Dr. Butler began this animal hospital some fifty years ago, when it was one of a very few in the area. The facility is much the same as it was back then, small and old-fashioned. However, the care your pets will receive here is up to date. The doctors and staff are skilled and compassionate. The prices make it possible for almost everyone to afford to get their animals the care they need and deserve. Shiny counters and high overhead are not to be found here, but good veterinary care is.

The Antique Feed Store Mall
This antique mall really is housed in an old feed store. But it's clean and convenient, with about fifty vendors selling a wide assortment of antique furniture, clothing, art, and miscellaneous. Plan to browse for a while; there's a lot to see.

New Farm Forge & Farrier Supply
The farrier equipment carried here met all my needs. Employee (owner?) was very helpful and prices were less than I'd expected. Friendly, polite people, good tools, good prices.

Foundry Products
Although I have nothing with which to compare my experience at Foundry Products, I will say that the employee I spoke with was very helpful and seemed knowledgeable. He was able to make suggestions of what I would need to create the molds, as well as to actually pour the pewter. What I needed, they had. I'll go again should I need more equipment or base product.

Cove Inn On Naples Bay
GORGEOUS! The Cove Inn is located in Old Naples, where you can walk just a few blocks to fine dining, casual eating, shopping, and entertainment. That is, if you ever want to leave your room and the beautiful beach that is right outside your door. The rooms are clean, decorated in florida tropics style. Just walking in the room made me relax. Accomodations range from single rooms to efficiencies to 2-bedroom/2-bath penthouses. Rates are average for this area and if you can come in off-season you'll find the rooms for half-price.

Helmsley Sandcastle
The Helmsley Sandcastle is a nice splurge for a special weekend away. Their on-site restaurant is elegant but not stuffy. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with choice of pool-view or gulf-view rooms. While I prefer walking out my door and down the white, sandy beach to the Gulf of Mexico, the Sandcastle does offer two swimming pools for those who prefer their water activities on the tame side.

Hillview Grill
Everything at the Hillview was clean, even the restroom. The service was efficient and the food was well-prepared. The Hillview has a nicely varied menu; salad-lovers and meat-lovers will find something to satisfy. I must admit, for me the main attraction is their mango cobbler, with ice cream of course!

Hob Nob Drive In Restaurant
I love eating here at the Hob Nob. They serve great burgers and hot dogs but the best part for me is that you can eat outside and bring your well-behaved dog.

Bridge Tender Inn
I love the Portabella mushroom appetizer! The seafood here is fresh and well-prepared and the New York strip steak is one of the best I've eaten. The service is relaxed but friendly - just the atmosphere I like for a casual, laid-back dinner out. Prices are a bit high but the location and food are worth the splurge.

Bennington Tobacconist
Walking into Bennington Tobacconist is like walking into an old-fashioned men's club. The walls are panelled with rich, deep wood and there is an air of elegance throughout. The rich smell of fine tobaccos permeate the room. Truly an experience for anyone who appreciates fine tobacco.
