We ate lunch here a little while back. I remember thinking as we pulled up... "Is this an old bus, or railroad car". It looks like a silver traincar, or something. The inside reminded of those 60's and 70's movies that had diner shots in the,. The service was very good, the coffee stayed hot, and the food was served quickly. I had a french dip... which they allowed me to customize for about a dollar more (not bad for cheese and grilled onions added to my sandwhich. Very reasonable prices, and quite a bit of parking. I will go back here to eat again
I had the smothered burrito.... and it filled up the whole plate. No fancy food here, just full meals like you eat at home. The burrito was nicely seasoned, without being spicy, also tasted the reuben which was also pretty good. I thought the food was reasonably priced, and the service was pretty good, fast initially but took a while for beverage refills. We liked this restaurant, which provided plenty of parking, and we will go back again.
Just stopped by here one morning looking for coffee and a doughnut or something similar.... left hoping my arteries were not instantly clogged..lol.. A great selection of cakes and rolls that nade sure it will take several trips to try them all.... The rum baba was quite good, but the napolean was a show stopper... actually went back and ordered a second piece. Your demtist will love you going here regularly, but what the heck. When you can treat your taste buds to something like this I say GO FOR IT. I have returned, and will continue to do so. Parking can be a little iffy, but turn west at east high school and you will find something. I am glad there was not a place like this outside of my high school.... the teachers must hate the students coming in with that kind of sugar buzz.
I really enjoyed my dining experience at the delectable egg. We were downtown early, and just stopped in on the spur-of-the-moment. The coffee was an immediate plus, not some generic drip in our opinion, flavorfull, and steadily supplied :) .. The huevos was very tasty, and the eggs benedict as rich as you could want. We really enjoyed the dining experience here, and loved the staff who all seemed to want to be working at this particular job. Plenty of parking downtown as always. Will eat here again for sure
I have eaten at simms several times over the years, and the last trip was every bit as good as the first. I end up eating the same here, not because i am not adventurous but because the dover sole is perfect. Always flakey, and have never had a bad experience here. The wine list is excellent, and the deserts are out of this world. I can not afford to eat here frequently, but do at every opportunity. Plenty of parking, and the perfect place to take a date for a "romantic" evening
We used to love going to the fresh fish company as a way to treat ourselves, but the last couple of trips here have us looking for a new place. The prices are high, which I wouldn't mind paying if the quality was better than Red Lobster. The wait staff is still excellent. I am not sure if the chef is new, or the ingrediants are being purchased from a new vendor, but it is not the same anymore. I would still go here to eat, but am looking for a new "special" place to have that intimate quality dining experience. Plenty of parking is available.
I have had a hard time finding some of the items I crave as a Brit in a foreign country. What a pleasure to find a store that can provide the things I grew up with. Mushy peas, Crunch bars, and P.G. Tips, steak and kidney pie, bangers. I really enjoyed my trip to this store, and plan on returning many times in the future. The staff were very helpful (even offering to get things as I ordered them on their next buyibg trip) Love this place
I needed to purchase a good size quantity of meats for a bbq we held . I ended up going to the Sir Loin and could not have been more happy. We ended up buying one of the pre arrainged packages. the package contained plenty of steaks, but also some pork, sausage, and chicken. There was something for every taste here. We received numerous compliments on the flavor and texture of the meat. A great deal and one which I will be sure to purchase again. Not a lot of parking for this shop... but worth while finding one.
I had the pleasure of 18 holes at lonetree recently, what a great golf course. It has a few more sandtraps and hazards than the average course, a real test of ones skills. The food served at the window in between the 9th and 10th holes was above average, and reasonably priced. The course was not packed full, which allowed for a nice relaxed pace. Very well maintained, with freindly people in the pro shop. I really enjoyed this experience.
We ordered a large pepperoni pizza from here. It was delivered in about 45 minutes, and was pipng hot. The problem with their pizza was it was very greasy. I don't know about the other items on the menu, but for us this was a bad dining experience. I hate to give a poor review after trying only once, but this was so bad I felt I had to mention it. I would not eat here again.
