I have seen a couple of shows here now, and really like this venue. Tickets are reasonably priced, and can be purchased well in advance. For the most part tickets are not for a reserved seat, as in first come first served. There are several bars around the venue, allowing one to get drinks whle still watching the show. Great little concert hall, although parking can be risky
We went on a dinner date with some friends intending to play billiards at Shakespears downtown. When we arrived we discovered that it was no longer open for buisness, so we decided to try out Lucky Stike Lanes instead. The atmosphere was "live", the music loud classic rock, but not can't hear your conversation loud. The drinks were easy to get to, although a little expensive. Parking was available all over the place, again at a premium price. I would bowl here again.
I am a big fan of middle eastern cuisine, and found this little hole in the wall diner to be affordable, with decent food. The service was good, although it took a while to get the food out once the waitress had handed in her order. The souvlaki was very good, the pork nice and tender and the portion was good, the price was reasonable, about what I would expect to pay. I had a hard time parking, but would attempt to find a space to eat here again.
I recently had occasion to help a friend bond out of jail. I did not realize how complicated this process can be. Prices ranged from 10 - 20 percent of the bond which was non-refundable. After several calls a friend suggested I try Reliable Bail Bonds, and I am thankful they did. Denise was helpfull, and acted as though I was a customer she wanted to help... not as though she was doing me a favor. Her rate was 10 percent, and she did not require my jumping through hoops for her. I am thankfull I made this contact and will both encourage my friends to give her a call should the need ever arise, and will call on her again if I need to help someone else ou.
If you are a train buff this is the place for you, We found an old train set at an estate sale, and some of the pieces were a little beat up, so we decided to try and find similar items to spruce it up a little. Now don't get me wrong, but spending hundreds of dollars fixing up something that only cost us 200 seems wrong somehow if you know what I mean. By the time we bought a few engines, cars and cabooses we had easily spent over 500 dollars. I am not complaining, just had not realized how expensive this hobby was. It took a while to get someone to help us, but once they did we were glad for the exta tid-bits of information we were able to get while looking. Although expensive, I will probrably be back here at some point to find more add-ons
We have moved several times over the years, and before the last one I was determined to have the yard look like a yard before we rolled up. I bought sod from Home depot, and needed help with the installation. We called Temporaries on stand-by, my first experience with that kind of move. This turned out to be an excellent decision. We requested two individuals that would be able to put in a full day with out passing out on us. The gentlemen that showed up were clean-cut, and ready to work. We had already prepped the ground and just needed some muscle to get the sod distributed around the yard. We managed to finish in one day, and I even tipped the guys before they left. Would use them again if ever we have the need.
We recently had to call upon a local florist to have flowers delivered for a death in the family. These guys were the best to work with. I actually ordered by phone so I never actually went to the shop, but I will for the next time I need any flowers. Very curteous, and sympathetic. We arraignment was delivered within 2 minutes of the pre-requested time, and was beautiful. Not that I was bargain hunting, but they even gave us 15 percent off the order when all was said and done. Wonderfull people, great place to do buisness with.
I stopped in this place a few weeks back and had a great time. The staff was super friendly, and very efficiant. The food was good, not great, we played the triva game while we ate. I would reccomend this establishment to my friends as a good place to go when the bbq urge hits. The parking lot is HUGE
This eatery actually has a drive up window... FOR BREAKFAST. I often stop here when I have a job out east. I love the biscuits and gravy, that alone is enough to bring me back. The chicken fried steak breakfast is a full meal, and all of this in about the same time you get the fast food breakfast. Do yourself a favor, and try breakfast at johnnys.
We went here when brother came in town with his kids. What a great idea that was. The food was delicious, and not over priced. The kids got to run around and play while the food was being prepared. Plenty of parking, and the desserts were out of this world. The cobbler was as good as it gets. Not a first date kind of place, but would take the family here anytime.
