I keep going back! The food is outstanding and I always enjoy servers. They seem to hire the best!. My favorite is the fish of the day served Pontchartrain style. Portions are enormous so don't go crazy on appetizers

I have booked several dinners for large groups of business associates and customers. Service was excellent in all cases and the food was superb. Servers were attentive perhaps to a fault on one occasion as several business conversations and some serious story telling was interrupted to take orders and refresh drinks. Maybe too much of a good thing, but I will return and know this will be the place for my next 'big dinner" event.

I had a great time and great service with my meal. House chianti is very good and flows freely by using the "honor system". Be sure to watch how freely because you may have to drive home. There are many dishes to choose from but the Penne Rustica is my all time favorite.

For hotel guests and locals the happy hour is a lot of fun. Food orders from the menu can be placed and served "at the bar" to make the happy hour last into the evening.

I am a repeat customer and have out of town customers who want to return with each visit. They find the pasta dishes very good and chianti free flowing. Although located off the US75 highway frontage the parking is good and access is easy.

Grapevine, TX Steakhouses - Grapevine, TX Restaurants 04/07/08: 'Lobster Bisque is Fantastic'

Venue is steakhouse all the way but I found the food to be very well prepared and the service good. The Lobster Bisque was superb! The wine list is very good as well. Prices were in the $$$ range but my date and I though the evening was very well spent at the Old Hickory.

Parrilla Tacos

Dallas, TX Mexican Restaurants 04/07/08: 'Excellent Carne Asada'

I had a great lunch at this restaurant and recommend this to all tha love a Tex Mex meal in a family setting. I had the Carne Asada dinner and was very pleased. Food was great and the service was great. I had iced tea but there was a full bar with your favorite beers domestic and imported. Next time I will bring a designated driver and really have a good time.

Oak Hollow Golf Course

Mc Kinney, TX Golf - Courses 04/07/08: 'Bombs Away'

Wide open golf so get your driver out. This course is loads of fun. A few holes have the risks of lost balls due to the winding creek that meanders through the course but this only adds to the challenge to drive it farther. Great course for a Florida Scramble. May need a hard hat on a few holes that have doglegs that can be driven. Fun for all handicappers.

Ridgeview Ranch Golf Course

Plano, TX Golf - Courses 04/07/08: 'Great Golfing Experience'

I particularly enjoyed the links layout of this course. It is a D.A. Wybring design with wide fairways but has some tough bunkering on the fairways if you get too frisky with the driver. Greens are great -- large and undulating -- and very fast. When the wind blows the putting gets tougher.
