D2 Massage Therapy
This place is amazing-quality massages that are very affordable. The massage therapists are still students, but they're basically on residency. So they are very good, but you won't have to pay a ridiculous price for a massage. They also offer shiatsu if you're uncomfortable with a full body massage. The therapists are very considerate and always inquire about your preferences.
Dragonfly Tattoo Incorporated
I'm not really sure about how their tattoos are, but this is definitely a good place to go for piercings. It's clean and there's a lot of jewlery to choose from. I got my bellybutton pierced there and I never had an infection or any problems with it. A lot of my friends also got pierced there and they also never had any problems either.
Yapples
The smoothies here are awesome! There are many flavors to choose from and they're all very healthy. The service there is also very good; the people who work there are very friendly and definitely deserve tips.
Anik Inc
The clothes are beautiful and of high quality. The only problem is, people are definitely willing to pay a lot for them and so the prices are through the roof. I went there when there was a sale once, and a thin sweater was $50 on sale. I wanted just about everything I saw though...
Oasis
I really like this store, one of my favorites. You can find anything from sophisticated casual wear to fancy dresses here. One of the things I like most is that the clothes are from Europe and the prices aren't too terrible.
Dillon Music
I got my first instrument here, my euphonium. This is defnitely the best place to buy brass instruments-they have such a wide variety of brands and models, along with any accessories you need. My euphonium is a besson and it sounds great. The place is extremely difficult to find because that area of town has no street signs, but it's definitely worth looking for if you're buying a brass instrument.
Free People
This is one of the cutest clothing stores I've been to. The style is very similar to urban outfitters, only there are less graphic tees which I happen to like. The colors and original designs of the clothes represent the bohemian style well. Although it is extremely expensive, some of the articles of clothing are worth it. However, some of the other stuff, you're better off getting at an actual Urban Outfitters.
Azuki
I went to this Japanese restaurant with a group of my friends for a birthday celebration. It was a lot of fun and the setup was very modern. They played good music and the food was quite delicious. The prices were typical of a Japanese restaurant-not exactly cheap, but it won't cost an arm and a leg either. The sushi met my expectations, and I've had sushi from many different places before.
Han Ah Reum Pharmacy
This place really isn't just a pharmacy-it has clothing stores, a supermarket, a food court inside the supermarket, music stores, and more! It's really a Korean superstore and I usually buy various types of Asian food in the supermarket section. The food court is awesome! The food is delicious, cheap and even healthy! If you love Asian food and you're strapped for cash, this is hands down the best place to go.
Salon 226
This is the only place I'll get my hair cut/ dyed. I tried going to supercuts once instead, and that was just a bad idea. Anyway, they will always cut your hair just how you want it, unless they know it won't work for you. That's one of the best parts-they recommend what looks best and I, personally always leave satisfied. People who haven't known me long would never guess that my hair is naturally blonde instead of dark brown. It is pretty expensive, but it's definitely worth it. I always love to play with my hair every time I leave that place.
