Palermo
This Italian restaurant in Ballard is a great little family-owned joint. Their pizza is amazing and they make great sandwiches as well. I had the prosciutto pizza and it's still my favorite.
Cheever's Cafe
I first went to Cheever's with a former boss of mine and I've been hooked ever since. They have a great selection of Comfort Food and their lunch menu is reasonably priced. I love the club sandwich and the chicken enchilada's. It's a great place to go with your boss or your girlfriends.
Someplace Else Deli & Bakery
I'm still looking for a place like this in Seattle. Someplace else Deli makes some of the best sandwiches I've ever had and at a great price! Their bacon/avacado/cream cheese is my favorite, but I've never had anything bad.
Kamps Market
Kamps is one of those places that looks like it was directly implanted from the 1950s. It has the most homey, wonderful feeling and the food is out of this world! They're only open until 5:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday so sometimes it's hard to make it in, but it's the perfect place to sip on a cup of coffee and read the Gazette on Saturday morning. They also have a little grocery store and meat market with excellent finds!
PROS: Breakfast and Lunch sandwiches
CONS: Hours
Cock O The Walk Bar & Grill
The name itself has you doing a double take. This place is like the Cheer's bar! They have decent drink specials and it's located in the trendy Western Avenue district so other bars and restaurants are within walking distance.
Lanna Thai Restaurant
I went here on a date once and was very impressed with the atmosphere. They also had great Pad Thai which is something I always look for. They also had delicious spring rolls!
Diva Hair Salon
I still miss Jenny at Diva Salon. She knew exactly how to cut my hair, which is something you can't find just anywhere. Aside from her services, the salon itself is the coolest, chicest place in town!
Super Cao Nguyen
If you're making pad Thai or curry, Super Cao Nguyen is the place to go to get the best Asian cooking ingredients and the best part is that it's cheap! You'll be amazed at some of the animals parts you'll find there! They also have the best, freshest, cheapest baguette rolls!
Uncommon Grounds
This place not only has great coffee, but also a delicious selection of desserts. They also have an awesome patio in their perfect Bricktown location.
Space Oddity
I've never actually bought anything from here, but I will someday and love going in to browse. They have a great selection of retro antiques at reasonable prices. You can also look at their stuff on craigslist too!
