The prices here are definately inflated due to its location in the "high-end" part of the mall. However, the coffee is excellent, with fresh brewed espresso options and a very delicate collection of goodies to have with your coffee. This place is a good place to treat yourself after a day shopping for others.
This diner is within a bike ride of my house, but I'm always disappointed when I go. If I go with a large group, they can never accommodate us together. If I go with a few friends, the food is never satisfying or comes after a long wait. With some many other great diners, you shouldn't waste your time here.
I had lunch here with a friend after working out at the local Jewish Community Center. I had a pita burger that was absolutely amazing. The service was a bit slow, but the waitress was very friendly.
This is another classic diner in the area. However, unlike the Bendix, this diner has certainly seen better days. It is very small, with almost no parking outside. The coffee and desert I had there was great, though.
The decor here is very 70's styled with mirrors and salmon color schemes. The service has been slow also every time I've gone there but the food I've tried has been consistently good. It's on a busy street with a very steep parking lot, so be careful driving.
Tommy's is definately not my favorite diner in the area, but it hits the spot if you just don't want to travel too far. A little expensive, but good seating with large bay windows along the back make the meal almost worth the money.
This Diner is one of the orgininal Jersey Diners and still act as a place for lonely travelers (often truckers) to stop. The exerior is very retro, reminiscent of the past. The food is decent, but the the piece of history that you experience by going to eat there makes it worth the trip.
I had the same waitress when I went to the Suburban Diner! Peggy works as a clown as well as waitresses, part of why she is so happy and friendly. I loved the service but I found the food to be less than spectacular. I had pasta, but it was very heavy and didn't have quite enough flavor; didn't quite seem fresh.
Although this is one of many nail salons in Rutherford, this place really stands out with its service. The manicurist was fast and my manicure lasted longer than usual.
The workers at this salon were very friendly, nice but a bit too chatty for my taste. A great location on the main road in East Rutherford, and the place is luxurious enough feeling but cheap enough to treat yourself more often then you could otherwise.
