Sal's has great pizza, delicious pastas and everything in between. The wait staff is very personable and make sure that you are well taken care of.They have daily lunch and dinner specials. The prices can not be beat. The portion sizes are huge. My personal favorite is their gnocchi and garlic rolls!

Every Day's A Sundae
What is there not to love about delicious ice cream? They have a great selection and the employees are really friendly. I love the smell when you walk in! Plus it's right in the heart of down town Downer's Grove.
Mulberry Street
I'm not from Downers but visit rather often and I always make it a point to stop by Mulberry Street. It is such a cute little gift shop with so many different gifts to take home from spices to candles and decor and everywhere in between. whatever kind of gift you are looking for I am sure you will find something you will love!
Physicians Immediate Care
The physicians at this center do pro-bono work for a student program that I have been a part of for the last few years. They do their best to accommodate all of their patients. They deal with anything from minor illnesses to stitches and everything in between.
Gazebo Cafe
This place is packed during tourist season. It's pretty pricey but the food and the ambience is worth it. They have really good seafood as well as other options for those who don't care for it.
Florida Atlantic University - Boca Raton
They have a pretty decent campus located in beautiful Boca Raton. The campus is just minutes away from the beach and all of the major shopping in the city. There lots of international students as well. Great Marine biology program.
La Granja Griffin
La Granja is seriously one of my favorite restaurants. They have huge portions and the prices are very good. There steak is incredible and so is there chimichurri!
Kool Cuts
If you are looking for a pretty inexpensive haircut, look no further. Maybe not the place to go if you're looking for the latest and greatest styles but a quick and cheap cut.
Olympia Flame Diner Inc
This place is always packed especially on the weekends. They have a really big menu and the prices are not bad. Their parking lot is too small for the amount of people they can accommodate.
