White Hen is no longer White Hen - it is Seven Eleven. It is a good place to run to if you don't have that last item you needed. It is very expensive though.
I find Dominicks expensive. I only go to it if I am on that side of town and I am pressed for time. We did a price comparison on stores many years ago and Dominicks came in third. It was behind Eagle and Jewel. Someone told me lately that it is now worse than Jewel.
I haven't been there much, it seems a little expensive to me. The last time I was there they had some clothing that was marked wrong - or had a sale sign too close to the sweaters I wanted. When I went to the check out and found out they were quite a bit more expensive that the sign I put them back. It was a good thing I was watching. The place seems bright and clean. My friend says she gets some awesome deals at Meijer.
Fantastic Sams is only as good as the lady that is cutting your hair. I have gotten some really bad hair cuts there. I have a certain stylist that I go to - if she is not in - I leave.
I like it that they have such a variety. We have bought clothes, auto stuff, fishing stuff, bird feed, and have gotten Christmas gifts there. It has been a good variety place.
Nancy's is a great place to get pizza and italian beefs especially for those last minute parties. They are always ready on time for pick ups and their deliveries are always prompt. Their pizzas are delicious.
The fish fry on Wednesdays and Fridays is really good and has a good variety of options. The service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant is an old tavern, but well kept and clean.
Piano Trends has very friendly and helpful employees. I was able to get my two flutes and piccolo cleaned, checked out, and repaired at one of the busiest time of the instrument rental and repair time(right before the school year starts). The price was incredibly reasonable especially for the thoroughness and quality that they showed. Their sheet music section is also very diverse and well priced. I would recommend anyone to go there.
There is an assortment of fresh made on site candy and of everyone's favorite candies that are made elsewhere. The unique part about Door County Confectionary is the fact that you can watch them make most of their on site candy. Their candy is always fresh and delicious with something for everyone. It also has the feel of an antique candy shop making the experience even more delightful.
Perrys Cherry Diner is a great place for a trip to the past. They atmosphere is flooded with Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. The food is fantastic and I would especially recommend the shakes and malts, with any meal that you would have. The service is quick and prompt and every meal is delicious!
