I love this restaurant, because I love Indian cuisine. The Taj Mahal offers very authentic Indian cuisine. Unlike any other I have found here in the western part of PA. You need to try the koftas - excellent. I have not found anything here I haven't enjoy eating. The prices are great and the service is so quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place by far.

Pittsburgh, PA Caterers - Pittsburgh, PA Italian Restaurants 04/15/08: 'Excellent Italian Food'

This is located in downtown Pittsburgh. Hard as heck to park, but once you find a place it's worth the walk to the restaurant. The Italian food is extremely good - no matter what you select on their menu. What I enjoy is a good white sauce pizza, which they have a wonderful white spinach pizza. The prices are good and the service is fast and friendly.

Pittsburgh, PA American Restaurants - Pittsburgh, PA Bars & Clubs 04/15/08: 'Prime Rib To Die For!!'

When we drive down to Pittsburgh every other month to shop, this has to be one of my favorite places. I love calamari and they prepare it to perfection. It's not like chewing gum - it's perfect! The prime rib is excellent. And what's nice this place is so reasonably priced.

I have had lunch here too, not just dinner. Their salads are wonderful. In fact the Buffalo Chicken salad is something else if you like that buffalo wing taste. Oh and the service - it's fabulous. It's quick and served before you know it.

China King Buffet

Pittsburgh, PA Chinese Restaurants 04/15/08: 'Good Chinese'

This Chinese restaurant serves a nice buffet. The food is hot and plenty of it on their buffet. The staff and servers are fast and polite. Most other Chinese Buffets serve cold and saucy style foods, but here they list shrimp, salmon along with pork, chicken, beef and other choices. Price is very reasonable and I highly recommend.

Altoona, PA Bars & Clubs - Altoona, PA Restaurants 04/15/08: 'Good food'

If we want to shop in malls we have to drive a distance from home. Normally we head to Altoona or Pittsburgh. When in Altoona we eat here. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. We have never had a bad meal. Prices are great and so are the servers!

I periodically come here for haircuts. They do a nice job and they are exceptionally friendly and nice to the customers. Prices are very reasonable. I have seen people with color applied and I'm seriously thinking soon I might try that, but right now I'm only coming here for haircuts.

County Market

Punxsutawney, PA Grocery Stores 04/15/08: 'Excellent Market'

This little market is locally owned and operated. Every Saturday this is where you can find me normally buying groceries for the week. I like the market, they have things that I need so why bother going to other towns to shop when this is so close to my home. The sales personnel are friendly and the prices no higher then big chain supermarkets.

Somerset, PA Wine Stores 04/15/08: 'I love PA wines'

Glades Park Winery blends Native American, French hybrid and other European grapes to produce a wide variety of wines. The winery is open daily for wine tasting, tours and wine sales. Again I enjoy the tours and walking through the vineyards. It's always a great way to spend a Saturday drive and end it with the tasting of some of the finest wines outside of California. The prices here are within reason for other wineries in the western part of PA.

I love living in my area of PA. We have nice wineries and I enjoy going all the time to make purchases. This one is about 2 hours from my home. Again another family-owned winery that offers free wine tasting and tours of the vineyard. They have a gift store where they sell bottled wine and wine-related gift items too. They have two wonderful fruit tasting wines which I normally purchase.

Quaker Ridge Winery

Washington, PA Wine Stores 04/15/08: 'Nice winery'

This is a family run winery. What's really nice they offer free wine tasting and free local delivery. Their wines have won more than 20 awards since 1993, and they create a wide variety from dry reds to fruit flavored dessert wines. Pricing is very comparable to other fine wines. My favorite are the fruity dessert type wines.
