There is no better place for a perfect spinach enchilada Zacatacana... or sock it to me momma! This amazing sauce is nowhere else (but the Yucatan, from what I understand). Sure the margaritas are overpriced, but they're great! The atmosphere is perfect for families and running into friends.

This strip mall restaurant was a shocker! Don't judge the food by its local. I loved this Indian food and will definitely return for their lunch specials. I hear they are great and priced right!

Absolute Yoga & Pilates Studio
I love this studio because I always feel like it's a personalized experience. The staff is pleasant and the yoga is a fine practice. I will become a regular, now that this is my new neighborhood. I can't wait to try out the Gyrokinesis there.

Aluna Spa
I felt so cared for at Aluna today. I stopped in to check on availability for a mani-pedi and the lady at the desk went out of her way to accommodate me. They definitely won my loyalty... I will return for a facial and try their massage, as well.

Big Mamas & Papas Pizzaria
I just haven't had any luck finding NYC-style thin crust pizza in Los Angeles... well, not until I found Big Mamas & Big Papas! I am so happy to order pizza, now. The ingredients are fresh, especially on my favorite: fresh tomato and basil! And that crazy egg pizza- my husband's fave.

Jolly Roger Inn
My family just returned from a weekend in Disney and a stay at the Jolly Roger Inn. I'm not sure where the pictures were taken for their website, but it sure wasn't at this hotel. IF they were, perhaps I should give glowing reviews to the photographer. Our shower curtain had track marks on it like someone had run-over it in a SUV. The room was stuffy, with a only a loud fan to remedy the situation. AND, the curtains were a totally different pattern & color scheme than the bedspreads... just tacky! Oh, and the park is not across the street in the way you think it is. It's a trek!

Chart House Restaurant
My husband and I recently went to the Chart House for our anniversary and had an amazing time. We both enjoyed our entrees (my lobster tail was a little rubbery, though) and divine dessert, along with the superb staff and yummy cocktails...and all that while sitting next to the window overlooking the waves at sunset. Definitely worth the price and trip!

Silverlake Yoga
I love this atmosphere for yoga... no elitist vibe like many yoga centers. The Anusara practice is lovely and the teachers are smart. Definitely for the yogi who doesn't need the guru.

Healing Hands Wellness Ctr
I was pleasantly surprised after my first massage at Healing Hands. The staff is really good (and I am really picky about massage). Consistent and impeccably clean. I highly recommend this massage center for the price.
