The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. It was pricey but worth a special evening out. The wine list was extensive as well as the special Martini list.
Worth going for the total experience.
This place was walking distance from the main street and center of town. The Inn is open all the time, and the restaurant is too. People were very friendly and the tomato soup was delicious.
Tuscan tavern serves Italian cuisine at a reasonable price. I especially love the Salmon salad. The portions of the entrees are huge, and it always makes for great left overs.
Antoninos is a local favorite. They recently redid their menue to include other options like salads, and new sandwhiches. The pizza is a little greasy, but i really like the chicken cheese steaks. They are always accomodating and give me exactly the special order i want.
Well the name is a lie, it did close once last year and i was really sad, but despite that i would still make the long trip to the shore just for Bill's. If you like Gyros there is nothing to fear, these are the best in town. The boardwalk may be a little shady, but the food is too good to miss. Its not just lamb either, but chicken and vegetarian Gyros, too. Plus there are other non Greek options for those less adventurous people. Don't forget to sign a dollar and tape it to the wall (the entire restaurant is covered from ceiling to floor in these mementos of others who have eaten great Gyros!)
This place was awesome. I love breakfast down the shore (something about breakfast pastries and the waves i guess). Anyway, the baked goods were all so fresh, the only problem with the place is that i could barely decide on which one to eat! Plust its a nice break from the Atlantic City boardwalk and Casino's, which can get a little crowded. This small scale bakery is just a perfect breakfast.
I've been to the chatterbox a couple of times, and it is always a nice break from the crowds of the boardwalk and heat of the sun. The food is pretty good; Mostly American cuisine like salads and burgers. Prices are decent, but mostly it is just a nice family restaurant with good service.
Im so happy to give this place a review. I absolutely love Lena's. The water ice is creamy and delicious, but its the ice cream i go for. The Tiramisu ice cream is the very best, and i've never seen it any where else. They have options to make sundays, milkshakes or gelati's, or whatever you can think of and it is always reasonably priced. Its a convenient location right on the side of Laureal Road, so definetly take the time to pull over and Enjoy!
My friends that live in this neck of the woods swear off Rita's and only go here, and i can see why. The italian ice is much thicker and the smaller business allows you to do any combinations you like. Also, they make this "cake," which is really a mound of water ice balls, that is definetly a clever and colorful alternative at parties.
I didn't realize there were two Creanies until just now, but i will definelty have to give the other a try. This place always has the usual ice cream flavors, quick moving lines, and a satisfying treat in the end. Nothing too special, but definetly won't dissapoint if you are in the mood for some ice cream.
