Good food and great prices! The ladies are very nice and they are usually very prompt to serve/greet you.
I am always happy when I visist.
The place is small, and if you blink you will miss it.

Ricardos el Ranchito Mexican Restaurant
The food is nothing all that special. The people are very friendly and they are often very busy. I love mexican food, but not my first choice.
However, they have a nice small bar and make good margaritas on the rocks, so if you are in the mood to watch the next game, check it out.
Oh ... the chipos and salsa are good.

El Taco Nazo
Good tacos....nice people...worth the ten minute drive. Meat is tender and flavorful and the sides are good. The tacos can be filled with different salsa. Prices are also agreeable. The dining area is a nice place to sit down with family.

Molcasalsa Mexican Food
This place is down the street, and I will not go there again. Their burritos are dry, the tacos and taquitos and the breakfast burritos are awful! I don't understand why there is a line ....
I have given more than a chance.

My dad loves this place! We have been going since we were kids. My dad doesn't even need to order; they know exactly what he wants. Their prices are average, but they do have great lunch specials and their family dinners give you a lot for your money.

Tommy's Hamburgers
I know it is not the one in LA, but Tommy's is Tommy's. When I don't want to drive down to LA for a cheesebuger or chili cheese fries, this one is the next best thing! Service is fast and the prices are always reasonable!

Don't let the neighborhood fool you. The atmoshere inside, the kind staff, good food and fantastic bar will make you forget that there is a JACK N' The Box right next door. The food is fantastic and worth every penny. The drinks...a bit pricey but you definately get what you pay for. I highly recommnd visiting during the holidays

Basic BBQ dishes and adequately priced. Not too many changes have happened with the interior over the years, so don't expect too much.
Ribs and burgers are a usual favorite.

Rubi's
Rubi's is a staple in the neighborhood. Family owned, it has gone through some changes. I recoomend the malts and chili cheeses dogs. Not the best when it comes to taquitos and tacos, but my family swears by their pastramis and steak sandwiches.

Uptown Mexican Cafe
Food is good, but not the best in my opinion. However, the chips and salsa are very tasty and the staff is very nice and helpful. It has several tables if you'd like to bring a group or have a bite to eat before watching a movie at the nearby theatre.
