Tadich Grill
This place is a classic SF Restaurant. The food is great and the prices are decent. The seating is cool because it is bar style with stools. This is a great place to come to for either lunch or dinner.

Freewheel Bike Shop
This place has some great bicycles to drool over. They have a great showcase of components, and a ton of accessories to choose from. Anything from helmets, to socks, pumps to locks, this place is sure to have what you need. The workers are friendly most of the time, although there have been times where I felt they were snobby. The prices are high, but that because of the high end products they have. Service center is good also.

Cliffs Variety Store
Cliffs has to have everything a person could want from hardware store. They have a great selection with decent prices. The workers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They are happy to help you out. The place gets pretty crowded, but that just means it is a great store.

Metro Crepes Sf
Metro Crepes is a little interesting because of its location. It is in a plaza to a building and can be very easy to pass by it without even knowing. The crepes are good and the open space with outside seating is great.

La Val's Pizza
This is a popular place for many students to hangout in between or after classes. The pizza is ok and reasonably priced. The thing that makes this place successful is that many students come here. One of the only places to hang out on the north side of campus.

Thai Basil Cuisine
Located in Durant Food court, it is easy to pass this place up. However, if you do you will be missing out on some great Thai. It is for great reason that Cal students line up out the door for this place. Good, inexpensive Thai food.

Celia's Mexican Restaurant
Celias is a good choice for Mexican food in Berkeley. They have a big parking lot so parking is not an issue. There is plenty of seating and the servers are friendly. The food selection is good and it is a safe bet for Mexican food without having to travel far from the freeway.

Raleighs
Unlike many of the other bars in Berkeley, Raleighs is a beer only bar. That is not a problem however because they have a huge selection. The best thing about Raleighs is the patio in back where you can enjoy great food with a good beverage under the nice blue sky.

Kip's Restaurant
Kip's is a part of student life as like books and exams. This place is a favorite amongst students for unwinding from the stresses of school. The atmosphere is always lively with music blasting and people letting go. The bar food is great for sucking up the alcohol. When at Kip's be prepared for anything and everything.

Henry's Publick House & Grill
No Berkeley visit is complete without stopping Henry's for a drink. This is a favorite amongst students and alumni and a guaranteed spot for fun. If planning on going after a Cal football game, be prepared for a long wait to get in and standing room only. Go Bears!!!
