This is great place to have a casual to a little up-scale dinning experience. The food preparation was good. Do try the famous chicken soup. We were with another couple and both have <2 year kids. They were very nice to bring things for the kids to be busy. Also try the Sangarhia here.
Over all...a very disappointing one ! Horrible service !! Please dont go to this restaurant if u get a chance. There are lot of good mexican restaurants in town.
Myself & my husband went there after much waiting thinking that we will love the restaurant..esp food. But to our surprise, we couldnt get what we wanted & the service is too bad.
Would recoemend it to anyone who wants an authentic mexican experience. I only wish I did not live 1200 miles away :( It is a great place that I can take my kids to.
I am told the owners origionally started Ninfa's in Houston which was also awesome in its day. Taqueria Mi Tierra had a wide menu selection, awesome food, fabulous margaritas and an attentive wait staff. Food was A+.
Mexican food at it's best and the green sauce to die for! Take some home. Ice cold beer, friendly clean atmosphere, reasonable prices. You can't go wrong here!
Very creative menu. Food is excellent and fresh. Atmosphere is fun and comfortable. I personally enjoyed it a lot and I am willing to take my husband here all the time.
El rey Del Taco is my favourite Mexican restaurant in Houston. It's the first restaurant I head to whenever I am in town. Great food (try the fajita beef chimichanga) and festive ambiance, great prices and the best margaritas in town!
The "Perfect Margarita" was not perfect at all it was too pricey (10 dollars a pop) and just tasted like straight alcohol not much of a lime flavor. I would reccommend Racho Tejas for a 21st birthday or fun celebration but not a date. Its loud!
Los Charros had a fun atmosphere and decent service. We went with a large goup on a Friday night and got seated promptly, The food was okay, not the best Mexican in Houston, but definitely edible.
