I love the atmosphere, food (salads are fantastic), easy parking, and wines by the glass. It's nothing super fancy, but that's part of the reason I love itThey have great deals on slices of pizza for lunch too.
Fantastic thin crust pizza that comes straight from the restaurants authentic wood burning oven. This is what I imagine real Italian pizza tastes like! We thought there was a mistake when we were served a whole pizza pie that wasn't sliced into pieces for us.
Blue Plate is a brunch staple on the weekends. There is a wait during peak hours, but they turn tables over quickly and efficiently -- a big crowd out front might only mean 10 or 15 minutes. There's also a coffee shop next door if you need a hot beverage to pass the time while you wait. The food is great, and my companions seemed pretty pumped about the shakes.
really liked the food here. It isn't traditional so if you're looking for authentic japanese, this isn't your place. They had a huge selection of specialty rolls, however, it seemed as though some of the rolls were exactly the same, just topped with different things and called other names. I had a Playboy roll which I really liked and the tuna sashimi was exceptionally fresh.
you can load up on soup, momos, and these super good vegetables that when mixed together with the spicy potatoes could quite possibly be the best. combination.
The pizza here is fabulous! I didn't know it was a crime to order pineapple until I came here... The crust is thin, but not soggy or too crisp and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. I love all that I have tried so far.
Walk in, grab a plate, and load up! The chicken is amazing, great rice, dumplings, fantastic lo mein noodles, spicy potatoes, and veggies. Parking can be bad sometimes because this shop is in the avenues, but never farther than half a block walk.
The food is spectacular at the Fresco. Good sized portions, and a pretty diverse menu. While some people don't eat veal (and that is there choice), I think that my favorite meal there was veal though I have many different things.
The best Northern Italian restaurant I have been to in Salt Lake City bar none! Excellent authentic dishes and wonderful service. Wine list has a number of nicely priced offerings as well. A must go!
The food was excellent and the prices were fair, given the quality of the food and the portion sizes. For appetizers we got the potato chips with blue cheese and the polenta crusted calamari. By no means where either lo-fat or lo-calorie, but thy were delicious. I'd definitely order both again.
