Korean Bar with karaoke, a clean atmosphere, drinks and awesome food. I love the fried chicken...scrumdeelumpious!! Food is all around great...the fruit plate is a must. Closes at 2am
Great burgers, and there's always live music. The bands are always fun. There is always a band playing in the afternoon and evening. They have a schedule on a sign before you walk up the stairs to the restaurant. This place is usually not that crowded. Sometimes it is but usually you will find a seat. Good Comfort food.
Divey, cheap and low key. The jukebox had some very interesting music flowing outta it too. It went from 'Beers, Steers and Queers' straight into that David Allen Coe song - sheesh! I loved it though!
Excellent fresh tropical fruit appetizer with yogurt and macadamia nuts. The upstairs area overlooks Waikiki beach (and thus the sunset). The service was excellent and the menu had lots to choose from. The have the expected things too: live music, souvenir cups, specialty cocktails and torches all over.
The Mai Tai Bar at the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, HI is one of my favorite places to chill while visiting -- love the local people there, the happy hour, and the food! Always good times here!
Another favorite restaurant of mine tucked in a back alley surrounded by all of the chain restaurants popping up in Waikiki. The alley is perpendicular to the old Waikiki Twin Theatres. It's a small cute restaurant with ambiance.
The Hanohano room. Swank, sexy, cool, and the view is incredible. The bar is sleek and very chi chi. I love it. The food was delicious and the service was great
For a guaranteed "this is paradise" moment: get dressed up, come here right before sunset, and snag an outdoor table near the stage with a view of Diamond Head. Then, order your tropical drink of choice and sip while listening to covers of your favorite island songs and basking in the last rays of the day.
Side Street Inn is perhaps the single most overrated restaurant in Honolulu. The number of people who rave about the foodmake this restaurant a "must eat". There really isn't anything that makes Side Street better than hundreds of other places.
their pupu selections were wonderful and it said they can make their entrees pupu sized too. We ordered several pupus and I remember the poke being scrumptious! We also ordered entrees but would recommend having just several different pupus and you should be satisfied.
