If you're looking for those spa treatments where you get massages and body wraps and you feel like a pampered princess ... I wouldn't suggest you get that done here. Don't get me wrong, everyone here is professional and courteous ... but it's just not that kind of spa. You know the ones I'm talking about: the staff calls you Ms. fill-in-the-blank, the atmosphere is serene, everyone seems to whisper and float ... you can find that kind of treatment at the Ihilani Spa (I really recommend going there if you really want to be pampered), but not at Paul Brown.
They do such detailed work! Its amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Best nail salon ive been to! expensive but worth it. Whatever you want, they can do it for you!
This place was more like a clinic than a spa - which was perfectly fine because the massages were at an extremely reasonable price (50 bucks for an hour!!!) and they were excellent!
The therapists treat you like family, which is great. If you're looking for the snobby, uptight people found in spas then this isn't the place for you. The building is old but kept clean. Noise travels, but if you're looking to have a great massage it shouldn't be a problem
Great service - I was offered tea and water more than once. I didn't feel pressured into buying any hair products. Friendly staff - Everyone seemed really nice and friendly. Free validated parking and bang trims between cuts.
These cute pineapple-shaped cookies are buttery and delicious. The Chocolate Macadamia is my favorite flavor--looks too perfect to devour and tastes entirely scrumptious. The Pineapple Macadamia is a close second behind; the cube of dried pineapple in the middle of it really needs to be supersized, though.
This place is really creepy, but the dessert is great. The extensive selection of mochi ice cream flavors is reason alone to move to HI permanently. In fact, that's all I eat at Bubbies. The sakura mochi is unbeatable.
The shave ice is soooo good....it's not crunchy or watery! It's soft and creamy and of course it melts in your mouth. By far the best I've had. stop in today
All of the staff were incredibly friendly and made you feel like you were a part of the family (which is the point of course). Our hostess was cute enough to have one of the guys pose with me, instead of having one of the women pose between me and my date. The food was decent, but the show and activities are the real reason to come to any luau. I have to admit that there were plenty of handsome men, which definitely doesn't hurt; and the fire dancing was pretty amazing
The sandwiches are unique. Homemade breads, chopped carrots, sprouts, lettuce, tomato, some seasoning, killer papaya seed dressing, and the ingredient that really sets their food apart TLC
Sugoi is one of the local staples. This place is famous for their garlic chicken, and rightfully so. The garlic sauce is saturated with garlic and is sweet with a little kick. They even sell bottles of it you can take with you.
