This place is always changing... and not always for the better. The Royal used to be the spot to be in Bellingham, until they started changing the things that worked. They took out half of their dance floor and added a mechanical bull... What a waste of space.
You have to try the pacific splash... Really good smoothies and friendly staff. If you're unsure of what is good, the staff will always suggest a good all around drink. Don't get any of the boosters as they don't really do anything for you in the long run, and pretty much just alter the taste in a gross way.
This place is OK.... I think you can find a better place for your money. The kids here are a little rowdy and dirty. Wannabe gangster kids hang out in the common areas of the complex. One time I saw kids playing inside one of the dumpsters... yeah... really dirty.
My first mistake was thinkin' "Dude I'm Filipino... I can hang with the hot sauce." Pita Xpress' hot sauce is HOT! It's so hot, after I was done eating it, it looked like I was wearing lipstick.
Pita Xpress offers fresh, made to order gyros (pitas) that contain fresh vegetables and hummus wrapped in your choice of either a white or wheat toasted pita.
Watch out for the hot sauce, but don't be a wimp because it's a must have on the gyro.
This is the best golf course I have ever played on. Seriously... perfectly maintained, plenty of water, and an ISLAND GREEN?! What more can you ask?
All I have to say is that if the grass wasn't dead, it was a muddy mess with no flags. Although I almost made a hole in one here, I feel that almost anyone can with a 110 yard par 3.
This is a great all-around golf course. Greens break hard, plenty of water and sand traps, and well maintained fairways. This course is my favorite in Everett.
I had my 24th birthday here... I'm not known as a club head but when I was told that I was going to get a free VIP booth for my birthday with infinite guests, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. The VIP staff was very hospitable especially with my rowdy friends. The drinks were normally priced for a Seattle based nightclub and mixed drinks were properly made. In other words, the bartenders weren't trying to make drinks extra strong for extra tips, they were mixing drinks correctly for our satisfaction. I don't exactly remember the rest, but let's say I had a good time with my head behind the booth.
Seriously the greatest pizza I've ever had. If you're not adventurous enough to try new pizza, that's OK... stick to Pizza Hut. If you're into trying new things and eating truly fresh ingredients, give this place a shot. You have to try the "Jim's Gourmet Garlic" and if you hate garlic, get the "Chicken Bacon Ranch."
First and foremost, the game warden is the most helpful and entertaining staff member out there. He taught us fun side rules/games while we were waiting for our tee time.
The grass is well maintained for a public course. Outside the front gates, there is a large practice area where you can chip medium range shots and even putt. Inside the gates, there is a practice putting green, but it honestly does not prepare you for the somewhat challenging greens. The par 3 greens contain steep breaks and are rather challenging outside of 4 feet. Other than that, this is an overall excellent course which is easy enough for a beginner, but tough enough to challenge the lower handicaps.
