For a child who isn't comfortable with the longer stays at other camps, this might be a good fit. Fun activities, especially the water areas. I even did the zip line on a church retreat there.

This Texas Hill Country camp is just what a summer camp experience ought to be. The staff had everything under control, and the kids had a really fun time. So glad my children got to experience this.

Camp Honey Creek For Girls

Hunt, TX Campgrounds 05/01/08: 'Nurturing'

The folks at Camp Honey Creek are just gifted with children. The children are well supervised, but encouraged to develop independence. The activities were fun. The setting is just what camp ought to be. I've sent two there, and they can't wait to return.

Dallas, TX Swimming & Surfing Instruction 05/01/08: 'Year-round lessons'

My daughter has really enjoyed her swim lessons here this Spring and has made progress on developing good stroke form. The instructors have been attentive to safety, and helping the little ones focus.

Aboca's Italian Grill

Richardson, TX Italian Restaurants 05/01/08: 'Great find'

Tucked away in a quiet shopping center, this restaurant was surprisingly good. BYOB, reasonably priced food, generous portions, and fantastic desserts. I recommend the strawberry cake.

I've found this to be a good place to meet up with people and visit. Nice atmosphere where you can talk. Also goodplace to pick up a hostess gift or a lift your spirits gift.
