I have been going to the same dentist since I was 10 years old. I've had the option every time my dental insurance changed to find a new dentist, perhaps more convenient, closer to home ... but I would rather make the drive across town. Dr. Petersen is a warm friendly guy who will make anyone feel comfortable from the moment they meet him, and his entire staff is just one of the greatest groups of people you could want doing all that .... stuff. lol, going to the dentist may not be fun, but at least here, you will feel relaxed and comfortable through whatever work you need done.
Lincoln Square
Okay, let's be real ... the tickets are overpriced. Yea, the seats are comfortable, it's a great layout, and they have like, a billion theaters so there's ways something good to go see, but ... no matinees after noon on Saturday (or at all on Sunday)?! The ticket office will try to strip you for every penny you have, but ... once you have your ticket it's all worthwhile. The concession stand at the Lincoln Square Cinema is, by far, at the top of its class! You can get delicious pizza, creamy ice cream, of course there's popcorn, soda and all the traditional movie snacks. Usually if I go to any other theater and order nachos I get a tray with some nearly stale chips and some fake cheese that doesn't quite taste right. (C'mon, you all know EXACTLY what I'm talking about!) When I ordered nachos at Lincoln Square, they asked "What all would you like on that?" and I stood there dumbfounded. You can choose from cheese (duh!), ground beef, chili, guacamole, sourcream, tomatoes, olives, jalapenos ... I mean seriously ... it's almost like you're going to a 5 star restaurant and getting to see a movie for free!
North Coast Electric
When most people think of remodeling they think of Home Depot, or Lowe's ... but sometimes it pays to check out the little guys! This company is a family owned business, and they have grown over the years to become one of the most popular electrical suppliers in the area. They may not always have what you need for your project (if it's not a fairly standard item), but they can get almost anything for you in a reasonable time. And they'll always try to give you the best deal they can, so you're bound to save money by skipping the bigger chain stores. They're a great team that works well together, and (most of the time!) you can really tell they like their jobs. Great team, great company, great deals!
Hunter Electric
If you are planning to remodel your home or you need to do any electrical repairs, this is a great company to call. They have a friendly team that are all very knowledgeable. They can handle any project big or small, finish the job effectively and efficiently, and they'll always give you a reasonable price.
U 2 Discount Store
A little, easily overlooked store, U 2 has good deals on a wide assortment of items. The owner is very friendly, and will let you know if he has anything similar that is on sale. The price difference between this store and any other convenience store is probably not enough to justify going out of your way, but if you work in the area, that extra change in your pocket can go a lot further!
