Kenneth Wiener Optometry

I have been seeing Dr. Wiener for several years and have been satisfied with the service. They have a decent selection of frames in the store and they order them to arrive within a week or two. The staff is always friendly.

Renson Automotive

My husband and I both take our cars to Renson. They are courteous, prompt, do what they say they're going to do and seem to do good repairs. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me when I go there.

Burbank Pet Hospital

We have been going to Burbank Pet hospital for years with our various dogs and cats. We dealt originally with Dr. Runyon and now with Dr. Fluegge and Dr. Kumar. They are knowledgeable, you can tell they really love animals, and are patient with questions. The front staff is very friendly as well.I recently had to put my cat to sleep after a sudden fast progressing illness. Dr. Fluegge and the staff were so sensitive to me, giving him a shot to have him fall asleep in my arms before he was euthanized. It was a very sad experience, but they were so understanding and nice, I really appreciate it.They even have boarding for cats and dogs while you go on vacation. We don't live in the neighborhood, but make the drive because we trust them so much.

Pizza My Heart

I go here every month when I'm in Willow Glen and have been for several years. I am always happy with the pizza - it's great to be able to choose a different slice for each member of the family and their salads are pre-packed and tasty. The employees are friendly and the restaurant has a lot of interesting surfing photos and decorations.

Fathers Office

My brother got me to try their burger here and it was as good as he said. Very tasty burger and fries. I don't care for beer, which is not great at this place, but my brother enjoyed the variety. We had to stand outside for about an hour before we could go in. Great place - has been around as long as I can remember - a piece of Santa Monica history!

Louise's Trattoria

I have loved this restaurant since I was a kid. Every time I visit I have to get their pizza and salad at least once. And their pasta is great too. It's a nice place for lunch - the employees are always friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. They do offer delivery which is good when I don't want to deal with looking for parking.

Casa Teresa

We get take out burritos and quesadillas from Casa Teresa whenever we have a craving for Mexican take-out. We have always enjoyed it and their chips and salsa are good too! Our favorite flavors are pork chile verde and chicken.

Happi House

Our family loves the food at Happi House. The kids get the chicken tenders (grilled skinless - much better than fried, breaded stuff) and we get the chicken, beef and pork combo. The spicy teriyaki sauce is great. Their onion rings are wonderful - not healthy but boy do they taste great! The kids like the happy face fries as well.

The only downfall is that this is a cash only restaurant. I would love it if they would take credit cards. There is an ATM machine in the store and a credit union ATM in the same parking lot - but still, I'd like to just be able to charge it.

Kidspark

We have been using Kidspark for years on a very irregular basis. We don't go out much without the kids, but when we need to, it is great to have the option of dropping the kids off at a place they like. There are plenty of different activities for the kids - so they like to go there. It is nice that it is right across the street from Oakridge mall so you can go to a movie and dinner and know you're within walking distance.

The price is reasonable.

Emperor Norton's Italian Rstrn

We just had a huge to go order of lasagna, chicken and veal parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs, rigatoni, and salad. The whole family enjoyed it and it was very convenient to have them pack it all up ahead of time. It was a bit expensive, but the food was tasty and we'll definitely go back!
