My Pool N' Spa Ctr
My Pool N Spa carries everything you need for your pool and spa care. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to problems you may be having with your pool/spa equipment. The equipment they sell is competitively priced but it's a small store so they don't have a wide selection of pool toys.

Guitar Showcase
If you are in the market for a guitar, you might want to check out Guitar Showcase. They have a huge selection of guitars from all of the major guitar makers. My husband has purchased 3 guitars from Guitar Showcase. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They also sell drum kits and keyboards and offer lessons. They even have a guitar "museum". It's not my favorite place in the world by my husband likes to stop in frequently.

Espana's Southwest Bar & Grill
We lived in Los Banos many, many years ago and absolutely loved this restaurant. We still love to go back whenever we get the chance. It has great atmosphere, the food is superb and they have good margaritas too. If you are headed from the Bay Area down Highway 5 to L.A. take a little detour into Los Banos, you won't be sorry!

Johnny Rockets
We probably drove by this place hundreds of times but never tried it and then one day decided to go in. They have good hamburgers and shakes in a nostalgic atmosphere. Unfortunately, there isn't a ton of seating so if you get there right at dinner, you might have to wait for a seat.

Marlowes Flowers & Gifts
Without a doubt, Marlowes does flowers right! Their long stem red roses are some of the best roses you could ever give or receive. They have the longest stems you will ever see and they are absolutely gorgeous and long lasting. I work in Milpitas and my husband always uses Marlowes for our Anniversary, Valentines Day and my Birthday. My co-workers stop by constantly to ooh and aah over the flowers. I would definitely recommend Marlowes for giving and (especially) receiving flowers!

Nob Hill Foods
This is where we do almost all of our grocery shopping. The courtesy clerks are friendly and helpful. I know most of them by name and they know my family as well. The baggers even take your groceries out and load them into your car. They have a nice selection of quality fruits and vegetables. They also have a meat and fish counter. I know that some people feel that Nob Hill is pricey but I would rather pay a few extra dollars than have to do all of my shopping at Yucky (oops, I mean Lucky).

Finnegan's Washer & Dryer Rprs
I can't say enough good things about Finnegans! Their level of service is excellent! Scheduling an appointment is a breeze (a live person answers your call) and they give you a one hour window of time versus the usual 4 hour window that most repair companies give. I called and they said they would be out between 12:00 and 1:00 and the repair guy was there at 12:00 on the dot. He fixed my washer in no time and the costs were reasonable! I will definitely call Finnegans next time my washer or dryer goes out!

M M M Carpets Unlimited
MMM Carpets just installed carpet in our house this week. They had a huge selection of flooring in all different price ranges and the sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to order are carpet and have it installed within a couple of days Their installation crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend MMM Carpets!

Tomatoe Thyme Of San Jose
This Tomato Thyme used to be a Stuft Pizza. The pizza hasn't changed but they've added pasta and sandwiches to the menu. We really love their pizza! Their pizza has a generous amount of toppings with lots of sauce on a nice thick bread like crust. The pizza is more expensive than the $5 pizza places but well worth it!

Cevalo Riding Academy
My daughter took private horse riding lessons at Cevalo for about a year and thoroughly enjoyed it. She still misses and talks about her favorite horses - Ronay, Penny and Son. If you live in South San Jose (Blossom Valley, Santa Teresa area), the facility is within minutes but it feels like you are many miles away in the country. If you are looking for an extracurricular activity for your kids that is different and fun - I would recommend that you check it out. There are other costs associated if you want your kids to look the part - riding helmet, riding pants and riding boots but it only adds to their fun!
