Kara's Cupcakes
The place is so unique-a store selling only cupcakes (& milk). The cupcakes were yummy. They were freshly baked (as we waited for them to arrive from the bakery nearby). There are several different kinds. We couldn't resist the chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing. The owner was behind the counters and was very pleasant.

Loris Diner
The location is great-right at Ghirardelli square. But that makes it very crowded. Specially on weekends. However, the servers were very nice. We looked at the menu while waiting and placed the order and by the time we were seated--the wait for the food was minimal-this worked out well as the kids were hungry. The food was pretty good-classic diner food like burger-fries-milkshake.

Pakwan Restaurant
The food is really wonderful, fresh and also cheap! The naans and kababs can't be beat...especially for the price. The location is not that great-not sure how safe it is. The ambience is also not that good.

Shanghai Ding Sheng Restaurant
We went with a Chinese friend who knew what to order. So the food was good. The only thing that i didn't like was the ham and the winter melon soup. The kids liked the chowmein and the veggies. The service was not so great.

Westgate Family Physicians
My husband goes to Dr. Levitz at the WEstgate Family Physicians. He was recommended by his co-workers. We are really happy with Dr. Levitz. He takes time to listen to your problems. The front desk receptionists are professional. The other doctors in the group also seem to be nice.

Mail N Copy Plus
I like going to this store if I have lot of things to mail-specially during the holidays. They do have a small extra charge for the service. Both the people behind the counter are very nice, friendly and help out quite a bit. Their copy machine works fine.

Rais India Bazar
This is my place to shop for Indian groceries if I don't have time to go all the way to Sunnyvale. They have reasonable amount of vegetables-not always fresh The person behind the counter that i met several times was very polite and friendly.You can rent Indian movies here.

Yung Le's Fusion
We had good food here. The salad was great. Prices are reasonable. The pumpkin seed pesto with chicken was good. The ambience is ok. The dinner is a bit pricey and we didn't enjoy it as much. IT does get crowded during lunch time.

El Amigo
Very reasonable prices. We went for a mother's night outing and there were lot of orders...they didn't mess up anything. The dishes were pretty huge--couldn't finish the plate. The drinks were ok.

Puerto Azul Restaurant
This is a family friendly place. The decor is ok. The food was pretty good. The drinks were great (even my virgin margarita). The place has a devoted following. I wasn't thrilled with the neighborhood though.
