Lares Restaurant
This is a very friendly restaurant with great Margueritas and wonderful Mexican cuisine. My favorite dish is the Carnitas which is done similarly to the way it is prepared in Cuban restaurants.

Buca di Beppo
This is a fun place for a group meeting. The atmosphere is casual and there is flexible seating. The food is only okay. It is often very underseasoned.

Omelette Parlor
This is a great place to come with a buddy and share a great omelette. The portions are huge and the omelets are fluffy and delicious. I love the old pictures of Santa Monica Beach on the walls.

Lobster
Fabulous location especially at sunset. The view from the pier is great! The lobster isn't bad either. Excellent strong drinks (though a bit pricey).

Cheng Du Restaurant
This is a place I usually have delivered, however, the restaurant is nicely appointed (table-clothes etc.). The food is always good but seldom great.
