This is a place to buy produce, selected meats & deli. The groceries available here tailor to Spanish & Polish cuisines. The produce quality is great for the low prices. Credit cards accepted on purchases over $10.00. Two parking lots available.

This place has been here for a very long time. Lunch hour on regular business days is pretty busy. The subs here are really good, fresh bread & nice variety of deli meats. Pair your sub with a fountain drink & chips to complete a classic lunch. The parking is limited and there is no street parking available.

The waitresses know who you are when calling in your order. They know what you will order as you walk in the door. The service is close to great but the food is just OK. The guys that cook can make you feel uncomfortable at times, a bit to friendly (at least they are behind the kitchen). Parking lot available.

This is only for those that can't identify good old American breakfast. The pancakes, waffles and french toast are all mediocre. The sausage and ham is usually overcooked & dry. Not to mention the staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor to take your order. Only been there a few times but the check is ALWAYS wrong, over billed. Bathrooms are for emergencies only.

Good old American breakfast is available here. They have been in the neighborhood since I was kid over 30 years ago. The waitresses are great and they treat you like a regular. Everything on the breakfast menu is good and their ham is the best. If you're undecided on a side, go for the ham, thick slice is served and it's always moist. Thursday mornings staff is not the regular and you will notice the service levels are different from all other days. There are 2 parking lots available & street parking after 9 am is also an option.

Chang's Chinese Restaurant
The food here is good, the wait can be longer than expected but it's well worth it. They have family specials and allow substitutions in most cases. I think the younger guy is the son, he is very professional and attentive. There is an older lady, I think may be mom who is not very pleasant. She comes to your table 3x, to take your order, deliver your food & give you the check. Service levels are drastically different amongst the two. They have a few parking spaces but parking is always available on Kimball or Elston. Cash or Credit accepted.

I found everything from cheap quick fix supplies to upscale home supplies. They have a variety of brands such as Kohler, Toto, Grohen, etc. You can find bathroom and kitchen remodeling supplies. They also have a great selection of tiles such as ceramic, glass mosaic, stone. The service is great. We went in made purchases and gave the receipt to our contractor who would pick up at a later time. Parking lot is available.

Bachelorette Party Supplies
Right in the middle of boys town this is a store anybody can walk into. They have all kinds of stuff for bachelorette parties. If your up for skanky bachelorette items or if your looking for more discrete party items this is the place to go. I walked in comfortably without being worried of running into anything that would make me feel uncomfortable. You may have to drive around to find parking.

I enjoy the Fettuccine Alfredo. This is a very cozy location, hardwood floors and a long bar on one side. In the summer you can eat outdoors. If you're in the neighborhood, this is a good place fro drink & wings at the bar. Plenty of street parking available on Milwaukee Ave.

Maiz Anojitos Y Bebidas
Almost everything served here is made of or with corn. The goat cheese sopes are excellent. Everything is made fresh and the food is served tapas style. Small servings which you can mix & match and/or exchange with your guests. This location is in the middle of the block in nowhere. Drive slowly upon reaching the address range so you don't pass it up. Parking has never been a problem. I don't believe there are any ATM's within walking distance so remember CASH only!!!!
