Harris Ace Hardware
As one of the only hardware stores in town, Harris Ace Hardware does what they can to help their customers. Each time I have been in, an associate has always asked me if they can help me find anything. They are helpful and friendly.
Habaneros & Pepperonis
Habaneros has some of the most authentic Mexican food I have been able in my area of the United States. They offer a huge variety of traditional and and inventive dishes. As a Spanish teacher, I have taken my kids there in order to have them use their Spanish to order their food...they were entirely friendly and eager to help.
Jimbo's Log Kitchen
If you're ever find yourself on highway 84 and think you're in the middle of nowhere. you are, but you can always stop at Jimbo's for some good barbecue. They apparently have some really great homemade sausage too, though I haven't tried it.
Smith House
The Smith House is a wonderful place to eat in Dahlonega. They offer a unique dining experience because the food is served up family style. If you want something more than the eat-and-run experience of the current day, this is your place.
Burt Pumpkin & Popcorn Farm
Burt's Pumpkin and Popcorn Farm is a wonderful place to visit! In the fall, you can pick out your pumpkin. Around Christmas, they offer a trail ride all over their pumpkin farm where they have lights and decorations set up. In their gift shop, they have any kind of popcorn you could dream of. My favorite is the pineapple popcorn. If you're in the area and it's around fall/winter -- you must stop by!!
Pasta Max Cafe Take Out
Pasta Max is a great place to find your traditional Italian favorites. The chefs pride themselves in providing a unique dining experience. The rolls with garlic butter are great!
Jerry J's Restaurant
A smaller version of the Jerry J's in Blackshear and Waycross, this Jerry J's serves up the same menu and offers the same, friendly service from the staff.
Strickland's Diner
After the main building burned down a few years ago, they are now located in the Mall. They specialize in burgers and hot dogs and the decor is 1950s-esque.
Holiday Inn-Waycross
The Holiday Inn in Waycross is a great place to have reunions and meetings. Though the facility is dated, it makes up for it in customer service. We've held family reunions there in the past and it is always convenient to have the hotel and conference room there in one place.

Walker Jones Chevrolet Buick
Walker Jones is a great place to buy a car in south Georgia. My family has bought several cars from them over the years. If you have a question or problem with your car, they are very focused on customer service and will do what they can to help.
