New Beijing Buffet
As Waycross' only Chinese buffet, New Beijing has become quite popular since it opened. They food seems okay - -I definitely wouldn't go here for culturally authentic food, but if you're okay with the Americanized version, you'll be alright. :)
Locos Grill & Pub
Locos is great. I always love their salads but everything I've ordered from there is wonderful. They have a speedy delivery service as well - -great for college students!
Garden View Retirement Assisted Living
I have an elderly relative who is now residing at Garden View. From my visits to see her, it seems like a very nice place. They really strive to make it feel more like "home" instead of "a home".
Nana's Fabrics
A sweet family owns this little place. If you don't know what you are looking for, you are liable to miss it. They have a huge selection of fabric, ribbons, buttons, and other sewing materials. They are entirely friendly and helpful. They also offer suggestions (if you request) when you can't seem to decide yourself.
M E Shoppe
The Me Shoppe is Blackshear's largest consignment shop. They claim to have over 10.000 items in stock at any given time. Almost everyone in Pierce County has shopped there at some point or another. If you can't find what you want in the brand names, go here -- you just might find what you want for less than half the price!
Ivey's Laundry
Ivey's Laundry has been a mainstay in Waycross for as long as just about anyone can remember. They are affordable and usually have a quick return period.
Homecoming Restaurant
The Homecoming is a great place to take the whole family. You order your own individual dishes but then grits and cole slaw is served up family style. This is one of those places where whatever you get will be good.
Inoko Japanese Steak & Seafood
I've only been to Inoko once but it was a great experience. A friend held a bridesmaids luncheon here before her wedding. The staff welcomed the large group and did everything they could to accomodate us. The food was great!!
Peaches & Dreams
Peaches and Dreams is a wonderful place to find a formal dress for almost any occasion. The staff there take pride in their work and do all they can to make you feel at home while you shop. They can also help with shoe dyeing if needed.
Little Cuba
Little Cuba is tucked away in a shopping center, but don't let its obscurity fool you! The food is authentic Cuban and the staff is very personable. Most of the menu items are listed in Spanish with English descriptions. Their ropa vieja and cuabn sandwich are amazing.
