This nail shop is clean and the ladies do a good job. It was one of the only places I went while in College Station. It was near my house and priced well. Since they do a good job and I felt I knew them, I enjoyed going a couple times. I would recommend this place to anyone.
This vet came highly recommend to me in College Station. The doctors and all service were really friendly. They make a point to remember your pet when it comes in. They give you a lot of information and answer your questions when you have them. I would recommend their service and quality of information to anyone.
This is a modern little shop for all things for the bathroom. They have unique scents and offers that are not only fun to give as gifts, but fun to make for your friends. It is super unique and everyone should try out this little shop!
A lot of locals know the Shivers stand by the side of the road. It has a convenient drive up window so you can drive up or walk up and grab a snow cone. This is a great idea since it gets pretty hot in the summers. Many locals like this little unique snow cone shack.
Aggie family owned for more than one hundred years, this is a local favorite for many students in College Station. They are very close to campus and convenient for students to shop at. They don't usually give you a better deal than most places in the same field. But they do send out good coupon offers in the mail to get an extra 5 or 10 dollars if you sell your books back to them. They usually have all the books you will need for the semester in stock.
Since it is one of the only in town, this is a much beloved Christian bookstore in College Station. It is located inside the mall. Most organizations or locals get their study books here. They also have a lot of Christian items for the home, such as wall art. You can find some specialty items as well as a good selection of books and music. The service is friendly and will order things for you and then give you a call once they come in.
The sales happen every football home game weekend. They will have a large tent sale and offer low prices for all their shirts. They are all Aggie pride shirts, some new, but others leftovers that were made for some event that never sold. It is a good way to find a few new Aggie shirts for around $5 sometimes. The quality of the material is good and will last years. Trust me. Also, this is the place in town where most organizations go to get tshirts printed for their event in large numbers. They offer low costs for large orders.
This is a clothing store where people bring in their old or never worn clothes and they resell them. It is a good way for locals to make a little money on their old or out of season clothes they want to donate. But for the buyer, the selection is usually a little random and you have to want to search to find anything. You can find good buys and good prices, but you have to be willing to look for it and willing to wear something that might be out of season.
The service at this shop is very helpful. As a college student not knowing what to do about my car problem, they took care of everything, reassured me, and helped me get things done. The cost was even fairly average. I was impressed by their service, how they took care of the problem, and didn't rip me off with the price. I would highly recommend this place!
This is a local favorite. Many people who go here for hamburgers have been coming for many years. There are pictures on the wall that show the age and sustainability of this family owning and excelling in the hamburger business. The hamburgers are char-grilled and peppery. Their normal french fry is the seasoned fry, which is great. They also serve other types of sandwiches, like chicken or fish. There is also a Bluebell serving counter which is a kids favorite. I would highly recommend these hamburgers.
