I like to go here when i want to catch up with a friend. There are lots of places to sit, check out the downstairs balcony. On some night they have live music or open mic night. The food is pretty good, but a little over priced... but it is Saratoga. Coffee, tea, wine and beer all have a good selection. $5 minimum for credit cards.
The coffee is good, but the one on stevens creek is better. I really like the laid back atmosphere and cool people watching. The pastries are good and the premade salads and sandwiches are too, and make this a good place to grab a quick bit ont he go.
Their new location is super snazzy, and I can see it being a fun place to go in the evenings. I went for lunch and liked the special lunch menu the offer with an appetizer and main dish. The yellow noodles are a safe bet but everyone seem to really like the fish in a little clay pot.
I love going here for a guilty pleasure meal. The sweet potato fries are the best, and I like that the fries/ onion sting will come a little before your burger, like an appetizer. They get busy so go a little arly of late if you want to avoid the crowds. If you sit outside you have to order on your own, but on a nice night it is worth it. The toppings choices are vast, and I like the choice of english muffin instead of a bun. They have their own veggie burger and turkey burgers too.
I love the food at Chipotle. All of the meats are so well seasoned, the salsas are fresh and the service is speedy. There is usually a long line right around lunch and dinner times, since this a favorite of the local high schoolers. If you have a local student ID you'll get a freee soda.
Nothing special about this place, but with is being super convenient when you are going to see a movie I will probably go back. They do have a couple good choices for wine, and at a reasonable price.
I usually go to the one on De Anza, but I was in the area and decided to stop. This location is a bit smaller and with the wooden floors it get loud! The food is good, and their specialty- the apple pancake is worth the wait a good for sharing. I like this place but I wish the management took better care of this local favorite.
Cafe Torre is a little unexpected, it is hiding in a boring strip mall near the corner or Stevens Creek and De Anza. There is usually a Vespa parked outside. The wine selection here is huge, and the waiter are very professional and knowledgeable. The food is very good, and although the menu is not large you really can't go wrong. Their strawberry shortcake special is delicious!
This local favorite is always a good bet for families. They have a couple TVs with the game on, video games and pinball for the kids. One downside is it is usually filled with little league teams on weekend celebrating, but order ahead, or get takeout. The garlic Pizza is great, but you will have some crazy garlic breath after, they put whole cloves on there!
The Cinnamon walnut french toast is delicious and the portion is huge. Service is quick and friendly. This is clearly a local favorite, lots of people on a Sunday morning enjoying the paper and sharing waffles with their kids.
