Tower City Ctr

Cleveland, OH Shopping Centers & Malls 05/29/08: 'Been There Done That'

I work in downtown cleveland and often go to Tower City during my lunch hour to shop or for lunch. The food court options are not so hot, I mean, I can get McDonalds friggin' anywhere. The shopping options aren't so hot either, many namebrand stores have pulled out because of lackluster sales/business. There's still Victoria's Secret, the Body Shop, Bath and Body Works, and my favorite MAC, but it would be nice to have some cool/hip namebrand clothing stores there. The shopping has suffered greatly since Dillards/Higbees pulled out several years ago and, the proximity of the homeless to the entrance does not do much to attract people to shop there. Don't even get me started on the movie theater. Hellacious. Tower City has done much to keep the teens, tweens, and other troublemakers at bay during the day, but IMHO, they need to focus on attracting visitors than detering them.

The concession prices are RE-DUNK-U-LOUS. I took my son there when the circus was in town and boy was the circus in town! I didn't even want to eat the food because it cost so much! I also attended a Cavs game there, same problem. Next time, I'm stuffing some chips and soda in my bra.

Cleveland, OH Banquet & Reception Sites - Cleveland, OH Restaurants 05/29/08: 'Nice place'

My office held it's annual "holiday party" here. It was a blast! The atmosphere was gorgeous and the staff was very courteous. The food was good, and I don't eat restaurant meat, but they had lots of non-meat options and I got quite full. After the luncheon, we sang some tunes on the Karaoke machine and had fun till we dropped!
