This is the place to go for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The employees are very personable and I've never seen a more sanitary nail salon. The foot baths on the massage chairs are bleached out after every customer. The nail instruments are sterilized!!! I've never seen the nail files,buffers and implements at a nail salon so clean before, but this place ensures that everything is sanitary . I'd be shocked if you ever caught any kind of fungus from Identity. The BATHROOM is clean! I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Not to mention the inside is beautiful...not just white walls and stock furniture,they have great display of product, jewerlry and hand bags, .Excellent place for a nail social with friends!

Pros: Very affordable, beautiful atmosphere and incredibly clean! Many services provided.

Kibana waxing- worst bikini wax of my life. I thought I would get a good wax based on kibana's reviews, but I must have gotten a different lady or something. I am used to a woman who waxes me clean as a whistle in 15 minutes flat, but the woman who took care of me took 30+ minutes and from the feel of it seemed to be ripping the hairs out one at a time and doubled waxed at certain spots. I would have gladly paid twice the price to get things over with sooner. Ouch!

Kibana nails- I love this place for the nice layout, clean, the location& location. the $60 manicure and pedicure at Kibana is not bad, but I rather spend $ 45 to get the "Custom combination" at Identity salon & spa located on Georgia Ave. next to the Woodside Deli and 16th st, their pedicure with the chair massage, leg massage, neighborhood friendly services is far better. I would try the signature combo at Identity for $80 the next time I go-the lady sitting next to me seems to enjoy her hot stone pedi!

Kibana's hair is good. I will go back to max again.

Fantasy Nails

Silver Spring, MD Nail Salons 05/30/08: 'Don't expect quality- dirty-rip off sercice'

I have been trying to find a great, reasonable nail place in silver spring, maryland but so far in the 20910,20903 zip code-its been hard. I tried Orchid on georgia ave.,Pam on thayer ave. , professional on georgia ave, super on georgia ave -next to professional, fantasy on georgia ave... so far -prices are good, but sanitation and quality are poor: no luck for me! And for Fantasy Nails, heard so much about them, I went to 3 of there locations- the one on university blvd in langle park (supper dirty, nails techs are rude,..work are fast, sloppy nails cracked in one day!.), the one on Georgia ave by Connecticut Ave is nicer-but a bit far for me, and for the on on Georgia by 16th street
= A MUST NOT ! The lady told me that she is the she does great nails and that her Gel Nails are natural and beautiful- I sat there for 45 mins. my nails were thick, not smooth, feels uncomfortable. I left a tip of $10 for the girl even though I was extremely disappointed and will never go back, never,never!
