This is one of the few places in Marin to go if you need any persian food/ingredients/supplies/sweets, etc. Location is convenient, but parking is kind of scare.
This is Marin's biggest farmers market. If you want good, fresh ingredients, come here. Prices are super cheap too! There are also plenty of samples, so if you just want to kill some time and get some free good, stop by.
This is a pretty standard grocery store. Prices are average, and they have all the normal items. Plenty of parking. I used to go here during lunch for school, they have a decent deli if you want a sandwich.
I used to go here after morning swim practices. They have good premade breakfast foods. I'd recommend the croissant breakfast sandwiches. They have the usual fair, plus more organic items and the like. Prices are a little high, but services is good. Parking is a little cramped.
This is a decent mexican place. I've only gotten take-out, but the food was good. I recommend the fish tacos. Parking is plentiful, prices are good, and serving sizes are good for one person.
This is a pretty good sit down mexican place, better than any of the chains. The foods decent, as are the prices. The atmosphere is good for something like a team party, in which parents and kids are involved. Parking is a little hard to come by.
This is a pretty good mexican place, probably the best in Novato. Size and prices are good, and everything tastes great. Also, they have the Abuelo Macho, which is a 15 pound burrito. If you can eat it all in one sitting, you eat for free and get your picture on the wall.
This is the best mexican place in Marin Country. I used to come here all the time with my buddies. All the ingredients are great, the food is awesome. Serving sizes are huge, and the prices are SUPER cheap. Plus, you get unlimited chips and salsa.
The only cons are parking and location, as the place is pretty much located directly underneath a freeway overpass.
This place has the best sandwiches I've ever had, namely the Philly Cheese Steak. They are HUGE, everything is grilled perfectly, including the bread, which is perfectly crispy. The hot sauce makes everything, it's great. I used to go here all the time for lunch during high school. The place gets packed around 12:10 when high schools get out for lunch, so watch out around that time. The only cons are parking, and they only take cash. The price might seem a little high, but for the amount of food you're getting, it's a great deal.
Nom nom nom nom nom!!
I used to come here all the time with my buddies to get some pizza. Pizza slices are huge, but thin, so you might need more than one. Price is very good though, and the pizza is excellent. Another benefit is that the place is run on solar power, so it's green. Parking is a little difficult. The location is great, right in the middle of downtown Mill Valley.
