Champps Americana
This restaurant has a very extensive menu. Whatever you order is going to be large. This is a nice place and a step up from other restaurants like Applebee's, Chili's, etc... They offer nicely prepared seafood, pasta, chicken, sandwiches and enormous salads. At lunch they offer many half order options. The prices are a little more than the above restaurants but worth the extra cost for quality (and quantity).
Rocky Mountain Chocolate
Wonderful chocolate selections. Chocolate covered strawberries, apples, and pretzels are all exceptional. I love the pretzels covered with fudge chocolate and pecans. Fudge is also available. Diabetic chocolates too. Pricing is moderate but you are getting really good quality.
Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville
This is a fun restaurant to bring the whole family. Lots of seating in a vacation atmosphere with Jimmy Buffet's music! Live music later on for club fun. Big portions abound with every order. I like the coconut shrimp and jerk salmon. Kids will love the place too. Moderately priced.
Disney Village Marketplace
This is a fun shopping and entertainment area. There are many restaurants located in and near the marketplace. Lots of shops with tons of Disney themed merchandise at really good prices. This is the place to come for variety. Cool HUGE lego creations are displayed around the marketplace. There are also neat fountain displays and places for kids to run through water.
Dairy King
A nice spot for a quick walk-up ice cream treat. Located across from the library and right downtown. You can go walk around the park with your ice cream. The shakes are really good and thick. Prices are typical for soft serve.
Ernesto's
Located in an old house this restaurant has lots of charm and elegance. Whether you're out for an evening with two or twenty or more Ernesto's can accomodate. The food is terrific with many speciality pasta dishes, steaks and seafood. The service is wonderful too. I had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch here and the food was delicious and the desserts were awesome!
Bubble Island
This is a fun little place to go for delicious smoothies. Try the jellies in your smoothie (kids seem to really enjoy them this way). It is located in the heart of MSU's beautiful campus. Prices are fair. Recommended.
Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill
This place has the best baby back ribs. The meat literally is falling off the bones. The barbeque sauce is quite tasty too and if you want a good sandwich the pulled pork is great. The ribs are somewhat pricey but you will be satisfied.
Andy's Hallmark
Located in lovely downtown Plymouth. This card shop has been a staple in the community for years. Good service and great selections keep people coming back. Also webkinz and more.
catching fireflies
The cutest shop in downtown Rochester filled with gift items, kitchy things, decorative household items, purses, jewelry, cards and many other things. Large selection and purchases are wrapped by the helpful staff with wonderfully bright paper.
