We had a 50th wedding anniversary for my parents and bought a lot of beer and liquer from this store. The staff was very helpful with how much we might need and what most people were buying such as different wines. We even got a bottle to sample! That was so nice. They even let us return the unopened bottles for a refund. Great store!
Tiki Bobs Cantina is one crazy bar. If you want to feel like your on spring break, thats the place to go. You will find people dancing on the bars all the time. You can even rent the place for your own private, holiday, birthday, work etc.. party. Doors open at 9:00 and there is a dress code. I recommend stopping by Tiki's to feel like your on spring break!
Great place to go with a group of friends, even better if you are celebrating a special occasion. They have dueling pianos and they play crazy songs and the crowd sings along. They like to embarrass you and your group. You can even get up front to dance, if your that crazy. Wild Wednesdays offer 1.00 beers and 1.00 off drinks. Thursdays are Ladies night with women admitted for free and men pay a copay. Great time!
We visit the UP alot, because my husband has family there. We stayed at the Marquette Lodge and it was wonderful. It is family owned so they treat you like one of them. The rooms are newly renovated and have microwaves and refrigerators. They allow pets also. Right next door is a great restaurant for breakfast called Wahlstroms. Within four miles there is a childrens museum, movie theatre and the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse with tours. Much to do in Marquette!
Was in Iron Mountain for my uncles funeral and need somewhere to stay. We picked the lodge because of the looks. It was very nice, close to shops and dining and very low prices. Rooms started at 44.00. They had a large indoor pool, jacuzzi suites, smoke free rooms, indoor terraces. The rooms were also tastefully decorated. The price also included a compimentary breakfast! What a deal.
My oil light when on once again, so I stopped in to see if I needed an oil change. Come to find out my car was low a quart of oil. I bought a quart and the staff put in in for me for no charge. I also bought a couple extra quarts in case I needed them for the ride home. The employees were very helpful and did not try to sell me anything I really did not need.
Was in Traverse to pick my son up from band camp, came a day early to spend some quality time. We stayed at the Best Western and ate at Omelette shoppe. What an awesome breakfast we had. It includeded hash browns, toast, sausage, and fruit. (what a breakfast!). If you are hungary and in the area stop in for an awsome omelette!
Was in the area to pick my son up from band camp. We got lost (imagine that!) stopped for lunch at Scheldes's Grill for a burger. It was good, a little over done for my taste but I still ate it. My husband ordered a grilled ham and cheese and thought it was good. It was your typical grille, nothing to wright home about.
Were in the area for a baseball tournament. We all decided to buy ham for a picnic and everybody would bring one dish to pass. The ham was great, just, like a honeybaked ham. The price was similar to a honeybaked ham and the same taste! It was so much cheaper to do this than everybody get their own meal! I would definately recommend this place for your next ham!
Went for a late breakfast, wasn't sure if they would even serve us breakfast, but they did ( it was 11:15) I ordered the ham and cheese omelet, it was great!! It came with hash browns, toast and meat. It was so much breakfast, I could not eat it all. My son ordered the french toast ( his favorite) he could not eat it all, that's bad if he cannot finish his food,. If you want a meal that is satisfying, you need to eat at Randy's (it's also my husbands name).
