I used to visit Dr. McCarroll when his office was located in Romeo. I found him to be very friendly and thorough in his examinations and truly concerned for his patients. Unfortunately I moved and he moved his office so the distance became very inconvenient. If I lived near his office I would surely return to his practice.
This is one of the largest houses in the area. The lanes are well maintained and the oil is even. Bowlers can expect the lanes to be consistent and be able to score well.
This is a 27 hole course that has some challenging holes. My favorite course is the gold. The 8th green is on an island that is at the end of a 90 degree dog leg left. The hole is not visible from the tee, but if you know the location you can cut across and over the trees to leave a short chip over the water and onto the green. The gold is a fun 9 holes.
This is a long and flat coarse. The newer 18 holes is a bit more challenging than the older 18. The old coarse is also very wide and many times you find a player from another hole standing in your fairway.
This Irish bar is located in a strip mall on 13 mile and Woodward. The bar offers Irish bands and encourages you to sing along to all your favorite Irish tunes. This is a fun place to go on the weekend.
The Tavern is located on the north edge of the downtown area on Paint Creek. It is a quaint little bar with a menu that includes things like burger, fish and chips or chicken fingers. The Paint Creek Tavern has managed to stay around for many years while other bars in the area have changed names several times. If you still have your Paint Creek Yacht Club card, you can still get specials.
This is a small bar with limited seating. They have the typical bar burger menu. During the summer months, they open a patio at the back of the building. The outdoor area is fenced in and you can't see what's outside.
This is not a fancy place, but if your just looking to get a drink and maybe a burger, then the coachman can help. Fridays can be a little hectic, but it's pretty quiet most of the time.
If your looking for a quiet neighborhood bar where you can sit down and enjoy a beer and converse with friends, this would be the place for you. Get away from the noisy high priced bars and enjoy yourself.
If you're looking for gravel, topsoil, flagstone or whatever your need may be, there's a good chance that Stone Age has it in stock. Resonable prices per yard and can usually deliver within 24 hours.
