West Coast Cafe Inc
I had heard great things about this restaurant and was eager to try it. My family, about 10 of us, gathered here for a birthday dinner. The appetizers we ordered were very good. Then the waiter brought out bread that was so hard and stale that we couldn't eat it. The second batch was much better.
The main dishes were brought out and we all began to eat. First my husband noticed a hair in the sauce that was on top of his lamb chops. He put it to the side and didn't make an issue out of it. Then my father who had Veal found a hair in his vegetables. Before we had the chance to inform the waiter, I found yet another hair in my 3 year old daughters pasta. We discretly informed the waiter and showed him the three black hairs that we had found. He told us that he would tell the chef.
When our waiter came back he said that it was impossible because all of the cooks had very short hair. He was very nice about it, but didn't really do anything to remedy the matter. We paid the bill and then the waiter gave me a business card and told me that there wasn't a manager there and to calll tomorrow to complain. Whatever! I never called and I'm never going back. My dish, while lacking in little black hairs also lacked in flavor.
R & R Raingutters
We called R&R Raingutters in 2006 after we finished remodeling the exterior of our home. Ron, the owner, came out and discussed our options with us. Not only did their professinonal staff install new raingutters that were the same color as our trim, but they also fabricated and installed a new chimney cap. We were so pleased with their work that we recommended them to my parents the following year when they needed new gutters.
Franklin Street Caffe
We are regulars at the Franklin Street Caffe. It's a great place to sit outside and have breakfast while the kids anxiously wait for the next train to pull up to the station. Breakfast is great and portions are pretty decently sized. Just wish they had a children's menu especially since there always seem to be kids eating there.
Village Host Pizza
While the pizza here is pretty good, it's actually my husbands favorite, the restaurant itself is depressingly old and ugly. I think it's time for a quick paint job and some new cheap carpet to be installed. Would also be nice if you could order and pay for your drinks & salad at the same time as you order your pizza.
Sirayvah Organic Thai
While I have never actually been inside this restaurant, my husband picks it up for us several times a month to eat at home. It is the best take out I have ever had. I always order the tamarind prawns and my husband has the lamb chops. They have a seared Tuna appetizer, sorry I can't remember the name of it, that is to die for. I highly recommend Sirayvah.
Granados Concrete Co
We needed the approach to our driveway widened and were in a bit of a hurry to have it done. Granados concrete was able to cordinate with us and the city to get the job done in record time. looks great!
