Reservations well in advance so you can enjoy one of the best meals I've ever had in New Orleans! The beef melted in my mouth and I can still taste it when I think about it. The food was prepared perfectly and was well portioned for the amount of money spent. The tables were a little to close together for my liking but I didn't mind once I got my dessert. I recommend this restaurant for superb food...with a higher cost than most would like to spend.
Reservations were hard to get but worth the effort. Everyone in our party had something different from the appetizers to the entrees to the drinks and desserts so we could all try something. There were items on the menu I have never had, quail, and was shocked that I actually liked it. Everything was top notch and priced where I thought it should be. It is not for the cheap spenders but if you want authentic food from New Orleans and want to spend the extra money...go here. Bring your dressy clothes because you will need them.
The food was the epitome of the song. I really did have a cheeseburger in paradise. The cheeseburger just sank into my teeth and it was the most delicious cheeseburger I've ever had! Of course I washed it down with a traditional margarita blended with no salt. Everything was made perfectly. The food was outstanding, the service was great, place was clean and very cutely decorated and everything was priced within my budget. I would HIGHLY recommend eating here!
The beignets are AWESOME! They are served hot out of the fryer with LOTS of powdered sugar. I always get them with a chocolate milk because the coffee is to strong for me. There is always a wait to get in but it is well worth the time standing in line for a table to get this yummy treat!
The rooms were an average Las Vegas room with the exception of the floor to ceiling windows which over looked the golf course. I wasn't impressed with the hotel for the amount of money it cost to stay there. The only thing I did enjoy was when I looked at the telephone, my name was programmed on it...made me chuckle. Nothing extraordinary about this place. You can purchase most of the items in the room but there wasn't anything I would want in my home.
My friend and I try to go to this restaurant at least once a month. The atmosphere is great and the food is to die for. Prices are reasonable. The only draw back is sometimes the service is super slow...but that occurs maybe once in 4 months or so. They have monthly specials which aren't on the menu which always make it so hard to decide what to get. The food is authentic and the place is always busy. A MUST for anyone who enjoys Mexican food!
This is 1 of the 3 restaurants that are all in close proximity to each other and are owned by the same people. The breakfast here is yummy and inexpensive. The homemade chips and salsa are to die for...and then there are the chevalas! You can only order 3 and you HAVE to order food. I recommend the super dark...you won't walk out without staggering so bring someone to drive you because you CANNOT go here without having one. All of the food is good and fast/efficient service!
Words cannot describe how much I LOVE Hustler Hollywood! I will fly to LA for the day just so I can go. I love the clothing, the purses, the jewelry and of course the TOYS! There isn't a toy or DVD that I own that I haven't purchased from Hustler. It is THE only name in the business. Hustler in New Orleans is just the same. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The hours are perfect and the prices are reasonable and they have almost everything you can image...and then some. I go at least once every 3 months just to see what is new in the store!
Let's just say you really do get what you pay for. Do not EVER prepay for a hotel because I really got jipped! The hotel is run down and not well maintained. We stepped off the elevator to find duct tape holding corners of the walls together as well as the ceiling missing in pieces down the hallway. The actual room itself was a little better. It attempted to have a cute beach theme but then quickly got lost with the 5 foot plastic plant which has 6 inches of dust on it! We put that outside the door and alas it was gone 30 minutes later...we didnt cry. When was the last time you saw a shower/tub with separate cold and hot knobs and where you have to lift up on the knob on the faucet to get the shower on. Attempted to pull a kleenex out of the box and the WHOLE unit came out exposing the pipes in the wall. A friend booked a room there the same day they were checking in for $29...cheap...you get what you pay for. Stay at the Motel 6 it would be better. Staff was not helpful and acutally made you feel as if you were disturbing them. YUCK YUCK YUCK!
Some friends at work recommended me to this shop. I've always been up to try a new tattoo artist and EVERYONE at this shop is phenomenal! I've had 3 pieces done and they are flawless and exactly what I wanted. They listed to my wants and make suggestions that only better my ideas and then they put them on paper...then my skin! Every artist I've seen work in the shop is AMAZING. The shop is clean, parking is free next door, people are laid back and the work is priced fairly. If you have to wait a little while there is good food near by and who wouldn't want to be just minutes from the beach? I would HIGHLY recommend this shop for any type of artwork.
