Eyetique

I came to the "Eyetique" to buy a pair of Oakley sports sunglasses which they did not have in stock. However, they told me they could order them for me in a matter of a few days, not longer than a week. For placing the order, they asked an initial payment from me of at least 50% of the price. I agreed, however 'by accident' the employee debited the full amount to my card. I was unsuspecting and stupid enough to accept this (since I'd have to pay anyway). The employee told me he would contact me the same day telling me when the glasses would arrive in the store.

I didn't hear anything from then for a week. I went back to the store after a week, and they just told me the glasses are not there. What followed is that they'd say again and again that the glasses will come another day and that they will contact me, but nothing yet. They have my money, and I only have a receipt.

Update: Finally, when I called Eyetique once again, they said that the sunglasses have been shipped via UPS, about a week after I ordered them. However, at the time they would arrive I was in California. Eyetique managed to re-routed the shipment there, and it arrived in fact, in good condition. I conclude, at least Eyetique is not a fraud :-)
