I love these shoes! They have cute styles for boys and girls - they have personality but aren't so cutesy that you can only pair them with one or two outfits. They squeak when kids walk, so you always know where they are. Good price point too, and they hold up well. I'd recommend them.
This is such a clever gift idea - so simple I wish I had thought of it. They have baby items like onesies, t-shirts, hats, etc. in solid cotton that are rolled up and packaged with fake greenery to look like flower bouquets. Very cute.
This company bills itself as a luxury line of organic blankets for babies/kids. They are nice, but I have a hard time paying $100+ for a crib blanket! They would make a nice gift for someone with expensive taste, but I would be upset the first time my kid spit up on it!
Kids bags and raincoats are cute. There aren't as many patterns or colors that would appeal to adults. Most of the items are made of a laminated fabric and are unlined. This makes them lightweight, but I do wonder how sturdy they will be in the long run. They have a good variety of bag styles, including a nice basic garment bag. Several of the fabrics would be suitable for monogramming. Stay away from the pink patent leather fabric - those get marked up VERY easily.
I love love love the bags made by this company. They have some very cool patterns and colors, and the best feature in my book is that they are environmentally friendly. Several of the bags will tell you right on the tag how many plastic water bottles they kept out of the landfill to make that particular bag. The Micropod and Wrist Bag are reasonably priced, but the larger ones - all of the diaper bags - are pretty expensive.
This company makes these great, customizable "bed crowns" that hang on the wall over a kid's bed or crib. They are really flexible to work with, letting you customize paint colors, fabric, ribbon and initials. Very nice touch of luxury - it can really dress up an otherwise average room.
I'm a big fan of the Relics furniture line. It's made in the U.S., ships quickly and there are a lot of styles to choose from. Some of the larger pieces can definitely be on the pricey side, but the children's pieces that I've used have been reasonable. Sturdy craftsmanship, great color selection.
This is such a neat spot - they usually feature local artists' works on the walls, the seating is comfy, and there's a great little seating area outside. I like the coffee better than Starbucks actually (no burned aftertaste), but the paninis are really bad. Other baked goods are great - made fresh locally.
